NIGHT 6 - The Mad King Begins to Outstay His Welcome
Christ I'm way too drunk to write a proper narration and let's be honest do you guys really want one?.
THE DEAD jdarksun - The Nightmare Tree - BORED THE MAD KING Mill - Phil the Human, Lionguard - Choked Himself to Death I needed a name to post - Kudu, Inquest Administrator - Death by the Voting Majority
Yea, but I see no Lem Also, so yea... what's up with Jdark? He did vote so if he was incativus-ed then it was by mistake. As well, even without him there's still at least one mafia, no more than two or this'd already be over. We have three confirmed people and three unconfirmed. Obi, got any more hunches?
Um, Retaba, I guess? Honestly I don't have much idea at the moment. Jdarksun, Fiaryn, Anialos, and Egos all coming up mafia really makes the day 4 voting look absolutely ridiculous, doesn't it? LIke, Jdarksun was the first vote on Anialos after Obi told everyone not to vote for INANTP, then Fiaryn and Egos started up a counterwagon on Jdark. Then Anialos declares himself mafia even though the vote was still pretty close and puts out a call for "people with ulterior motives" saying "you know who you are." Something is just... weird. Who was he trying to get in contact with? I mean, if it were INANTP, he could have just, you know, talked to INANTP.
I don't know how many of you actually play GW2, and it's amazing that this avoided my notice earlier but whatever. There are 8 dungeons. So far, we have killed a mafia from 7 of them. So there's a good reason to expect that there's only 1 mafia remaining.
On the other hand, the 1 dungeon from which we haven't managed to kill a boss is the Citadel of Flame. Gaheron Baelfire is a boss there, and you might recognize that name from the initial narration, so this isn't 100%.
On the third hand (for the duration of this post you may imagine that I have 3 hands), I would really like to hear from Obi.

Especially after that Cesare analysis (mafia voting for each other like crazy, wut?), I'm starting to think my whole thought process from the first day was pretty legit: Narrations aren't reliable. Either that or we have had some millers/thralls.
I doubt there are as many mafia as have been killed in this game.
The Pact had united. Though almost all of Destiny's Edge had fallen, and the forces of the Pact were substantially weakened, Rytlock Brimstone had led them through treachery and madness to defeat the abominations that had infiltrated their ranks. As his sword blazed bright, burning through the shrouds of disguises that still clung to them, the last remnants of the Mad King's spell being dispersed into the pre-dawn light. The Charr warrior heard a laugh behind him and spun, severing the spine of Queen Jennah of Kryta. He laughed.
"Logan's girlfriend, huh? Humans were always weak, anyway."
The Ghost of Gaheron Baelfire stole through the crowd, hoping to escape. He had been so close to feasting on the Mad King's power, but now... now he had no choice but to flee. Still, the sight of Kurt Lowdenhardt, Human Knight of the Lionguard, was too tempting. He struck, his ghastly blade burning the mortal's soul in an instant. Unfortunately for him, the brave Lionguard survived long enough to scream one last time, calling the attention of the entire combined Pact Forces to the ghastly would-be god. He didn't last long.
It was over. The forces of evil had truly been obliterated and driven from Lion's Arch. Well... most of them.
Rytlock Brimstone, Tyri-Anne Purple, and Mr. Sparkles turned to the Mad King, weapons ready. He looked at them, his pumpkin-headed visage impassive. No longer terrifying to the heroes of Tyria, he turned to leave, a mystic portal to his nightmare realm opening behind him.
Moments later, his pumpkin head smashed against the cobblestones. Tyria was safe again.

My apologies to jdark, who obviously should have lived. It was a close thing, and you might have made it all the way.
There were some hilarious errors made by both village and mafia, and the speculation over the night one clusterfuck caused me and Kilnaga much glee.
My favorite player was probably INANTP, who completely sold Obi on his win condition, when he was just a standard SK.
My main intent with this phalla was to challenge the assumption that the Mafia always have 5-6 players in a 30-man game. I should have given them an additional kill given the amount of firepower being flung around, but they still managed to almost pull a win, and I believe they could have if it wasn't for some mid-game frustration.
I probably won't run another phalla for a very long time, but I did enjoy running most of this. I hope you at least slightly enjoyed the game.

There was a Phil the Human!
Awwww crap. No idea how I missed that and failed to put it on my spreadsheet.
6 people left! It was a good call on INANTP.
The game will proceed. JDark will receive survival credit if the mafia wins.
SLyM must be it!
