Go into a lobby. See an N7 Infiltrator with a window 3 and typhoon 3.
Promptly back out. Just... no.
EDIT: Also, everyone talks about the Ghost being broken/stupidly effective? How do you spec it for that? I don't see it. Maybe because I don't have any good ARs.
cloak + stimpacks
really all there is to it
infiltrators are strong as is, this guy has a damage-boosting shield restore as needed
I tried using him for a bit. I guess with the mediocrity of the ARs that aren't the harrier I was never impressed. My AR manifest is weak.

Yeah, I didn't see the fuss until I paired a harrier with him. A Typhoon might work as well. I was not impressed when I tried using the ol' Rev with him.

So...how would I spec the missiles?
I'm guessing
Shield Penalty/Fire Rate/Hydra?

Can you run the devestator mode and missile at the same time?

The Saber is my 2nd favorite weapon after the Harrier; I'd give that a try. Also the Striker isn't bad either, though kept the Stability mod on. Kills the lower mobs quick.
You know whenever I look at my Destoryer I really want to give the missile launcher a try.
But I love grenades so much...
Grenades honestly don't do much for me. The missiles require no button mashing and give me staggers all day.
Agreed, now that I've switched over to the launcher I'll never go back. I spec it with the Hydra upgrade at level six, as nice as the damage on the Cobra is, having three missiles fire out is awesome and watching things try and get out of the way is awesome.
The auto-fire feature is also awesome.
EDIT: I didn't go with the fire rate, it doesn't make them go off more often enough to not go with the damage boost.
acid rain. It rains on and off during the match, and if you're outside a building it drains your shields.
it's actually the coolest hazard, aside from maybe reactor. Especially on gold it actually affects the way you play and can be pretty helpful, but also pretty threatening if you just run out in it.
hold your head high soldier, it ain't over yet
that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat
Also the typhoon is by far the best devastator gun, but if you haven't gotten one of those yet the harrier, the saber and collector rifle (somewhat surprisingly) are decent choices. Also the particle rifle, if you have that. Maybe the argus would be okay too, but I haven't tried it. I kind of wish I could just carry two ARs on mine, since I haven't really found a satisfactory 'sidearm' yet.
A lot of the shotguns are pretty nice too; if you're maxed out for accuracy/stability you can use the piranha at a surprising distance, and the raider and the claymore at pretty silly range.

Got dropped halfway through a gold match. Reboot router, reboot computer, reconnect, galaxy status won't load.

Yeah I've got a Typhoon 2 and Particle Rifle 4.
But I like the Typhoon more because it gives me the Dakka I need.
And I tried out the missiles and have to say I like them. They don't cluster bomb spawns like the grenades do but they don't get in the way of my mans shooting either.
I doubt if the acolyte is a particularly great choice for vanguards now, since you'd have a tougher time using it to stagger guys with the charge up
For certain Vanguards it's still extremely effective, Asariguard and Drellguard in particular. Less so with the Brawler as you lose out on the ability to fire when you're in a charge/melee cycle.

Oh shoot, I have played that. For some reason I got Ghost confused with Giant for a minute.
Yeah, I could see how that would be an absolute pain with Collectors. Though come to think of it, I'm not even sure which maps would be GOOD for them. Giant or Goddess, maybe?

FUCK! I thought I had the extended cut downloaded. Now I have to go through two missions all over again.
I just checked. I DID install the EC DLC in June. Why the fuck wasn't it working? I started playing again before the Cerberus Base mission. Grrrr I'm so pissed.

How far did you play before thinking it didn't work? The earliest there are obvious changes are the beam run.
EDIT: I didn't go with the fire rate, it doesn't make them go off more often enough to not go with the damage boost.
Well, I don't pack the missiles for their damage (though they can still kill mooks and finish off injured folk), I get them for their staggers. Higher frequency = more staggers (and incidentally damage more often, which is the same as more damage).
Reserve Packs are the best thing that's ever happened to me. I've unlocked more classes in the last week than I had in my entire ME3 career beforehand.

Why didn't they come out with these earlier?
Unknown. They've been in the pipeline for months. Presumably they just trotted them out when they needed something to tide us over a holiday.
Also if they ever hope to slow their player population loss, they need to make it so that new players don't have quite the intimidating climb to get the things they want.
I tried out the Asariguard with the Disciple and Scorpion last night and tried to focus on shotgun damage instead of anything else.
I think I'd need to respec her to make that really work. Even wiht the buffs and the High Velocity Barrel, the Disciple isn't packing the oomph I need without those weapon damage bonuses.
Four Tursoldiers on Platinum, huh? Interesting. Not sure how I feel about their mobility versus incoming damage at that difficulty. Four gethfiltrators seem more versatile. But, I have watched the Tursoldier Phaeston run. Although that was in the time before the changes.
That being said, Wyborn, we mans handled Gold the other day with Drag. I'd be game for it. However, quad Kroguards still needs to happen. Heh quads.

When I use the Asari Vanguard, I don't bother packing anything but a Scorpion.
I can't make it sing the way Curly can, but it's still pretty damned effective.
I've officially entered the realm of lvl 4 consumables, yay? I noticed the new arsenal pack don't mention anything about ultra-rares, I wonder if it's the way to go over PSP's for unlocking the ultra-rares.

I would think it's got exactly the same chance as a PSP, given that they cost the same.
I've always loved the Disciple. Easy for casters to use, and it's got some sort of weird buff to its physics, so not only does it stagger more, but it actually does some more damage than listed. I like Cannibal bowling, which is Overload to knock it down, then Disciple to launch slide it across the floor into whatever is behind it.
Four shot mags are actually pretty in-line with other guns of its class.
I've played pretty inconsistently the past few months, but here's what i have
Graal (complete)
Eviscerator (a little bit)
Disciple (like, i must have shot this like three times on a Shadow or something)
Geth Plasma Shotgun (only a little)
Crusader (half done)
Reegar (almost done)
Pirahna (a little)
Mattock (tried once for shits and giggles)
Saber (almost done)
Harrier (done the shit out of it)
Valiant (almost done)
Indra (tried once or twice)
Talon (very little, it's my Fury gun)
Carnifex (a little)
I haven't used a single goddamn SMG since tracking started.
The GPS and Carnifex would be much higher, I just don't play the classes I roll with them too much lately. And I apparently have barely touched any infiltrators in the past few months, so snipers don't get much coverage. Although realistically it'll pretty much only be the Black Widow I'm taking in that case.

God I don't think I've used that many consumables in a looong time.

I can't get the Scorpion to work like Curly can
But Christ
Brute-forcing it that way on Gold is pretty much the only way you can get that in a reasonable amount of time.
I know it gets better DPS than the Scimitar or GPS blah blah blah, the Disciple is just not enough gun
soooo many guns I haven't touched even once since they brought in tracking
I like being an equal opportunity player.
The uncommon shotguns really don't belong anywhere above Silver though. To say nothing of the sniper rifles and ARs
Four shot mags are actually pretty in-line with other guns of its class.

Light weight shotgun that you can put the massive melee damage bonus on. Run around as a melee oriented class.
Win!
