Allright, I'm having some difficulty with yahoo messenger, and was hopping some of you fine folks could help me out.
Whenever I log on, and I get a message, or try to log into chat, messenger will freeze. I won't be able to shut it down, and I'll eventually have to restart my comp. I already uninstalled it once, and re-installed, and nothing. Any ideas of what may be the problem?
And recomendations for other yahoo-like messengers would be nice too, in case I can't get it fixed. I already have trillian, but my problem with it is that I can't connect to yahoo chat, and it only let's me use one of my screen names.

Outside of that, I have my own question. I was curious if there was a way to remove the Ads from Yahoo messenger. Kinda sick of them existing and trying to send me ad cookies.
