Ubi games are never Steamworks. Well, not never, but the only ones that are are smaller XBLA-ish titles.
Here's hoping there's a similar price structure during the Winter sale as I would like to pick up both Settlers 7 and Anno 2070 because neither have had stellar sales on Steam yet.

I am seriously trying to keep myself from buying Far Cry 3 right now. It's almost christmas, and there's a steam sale coming! Any chance of it going on sale, you think?
I keep reminding myself that if I buy all the things I want, then I won't have money to do my first ever PAX trip next year.
WHY ARE THERE SO MANY GOOD GAMES`
Patrick Klepek just posted this photo on Twitter. I may have squee'd myself.
Just played the EYE Divine Cybermancy demo. It takes forever to load each section but then runs pretty smoothly, it seems. With that said, who the FUCK put Use on the Enter key?

Dark forces 2:) I remapped it there too... although I don't remember it from eye but it's been awhile.

Well I know Lean is important in this game, hence why E is for Lean. But still, it's silly.

Blame the French.
Always do.

I did the exact same thing in the exact same game. In fact I was playing Mysteries of the Sith just now.
I've been having a blast with Arkham City lately. It's everything that Arkham Asylum was but better. In every sense of the word. This makes you be Batman.
I've only recently finished the main story and have been collecting stuff (mainly to get all the gadgets). Still not done with all the side missions nor the Riddler stuff. I've yet to touch Harley's DLC or start a New Game+, but damn, it's the game that keeps on giving.
My only regret is that there is no extra suit from the current Batman movie trilogy. I'd have loved that.

Man. Dark Forces 2 was my jam back in the day. I have fond memories of putting in cheat codes and just flying around levels with a light saber and thinking that it was super cool whenever I'd hit a dude just right and slice off their arm.

I have steam keys for Titan Quest and the Path to War DLC for Red Faction: Armageddon if anyone wants them. Somebody please take them. :P

So, I'm sure everyone and their brother has a copy of this already, but in the spirit of the season I would like to offer a game about ugly people and applied chiropractics. This is restricted to the Penny Arcade steam group, so if alternative medicine sounds interesting, then please click. I reserve the right to assign the gift to another if it turns out the winner is someone who is just a leecher.

You're not the only one - I'm finally getting around to my backlog of games from last Christmas' sale, and I just finished Arkham City tonight... what a great game. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to cheat and look up walkthroughs for some of the Riddler's stuff, but the story was a blast
You know how I'm doing my "finish one game in my backlog GameBank, gift a person who owns that game as well a game on their wishlist" thing?
Weeeell, I haven't finished Spec Ops yet (currently on chapter 5) and normally I'd let a RNG pick for me, but this time I specifically picked the person who gets gifted. Enjoy, @Shade !

That's a good plan, I need to start finishing games really. Maybe after Far Cry 3 I'll start trying to get through some.
I started [email protected] Masquerade but I really struggled with the dated graphics, I think I'm way too shallow to enjoy really old games anymore.
Grr, I wanted to hold on buying Far Cry 3 in the hope of the Xmas sale..but the flesh is weak. Off to big game and pirate hunting!
Game looks just too juicy.
For those in here who are interested in CK2 but don't check the CK2 thread: Republics are coming. And they sound like they basically make it a whole new game. Can't wait.

That is going to take another 20 hours to get my head around :rotate:

Not many games where a $7 expansion can get you that much playtime out of just the tutorial. :P

Are you talking about Bloodlines? Doesn't that just use the source engine? Damn, you're going to miss out on a lot of good games if you think bloodline's graphics are too dated.
yeah it is Bloodlines, I was playing it before that patch had installed so maybe that's part of the problem, I'm not sure. I'll give it another go after Far Cry.

Yeah, it's a great game. The missions are really fun, but for me it's the atmosphere that sells the game.
In fact, I just reinstalled it because of this conversation. Damnit. My backlog is too big for this.

As much as I love steam, this is a great price for these games (of which, amazingly I own none). Any suggestions which one I should dig into first?
