After seeing countless episodes of Wheel of Fortune more than I'd prefer(grandparents), I've seen more than my fair share of god damned stupid contestants. I would not be surprised in the least if they didn't think of it.

You know what's terrible though? I read the posts on the last page yesterday and watched the video today. Still didn't see spicy!

I love how they hover over the 'c' for so long while trying to solve it.
Also if you had asked me which one of them had watched Naruto before I had seen the appropriate video I would have totally guessed Jon. I love how gleefully excited he got over the game within seconds. I wish I experienced that sort of joy so easily. The game actually does looks pretty well done though.
Someone should just go ahead and send them every anime game made by Namco-Bandai, along with two copies of Shonen Jump Ultimate Stars for the DS.

As a fan of the series, I would LOVE to see them play a One Piece game
Because if you're going to attempt to squeeze that big black monster into your slot you will need to be able to take at least 12 inches or else you're going to have a bad time...
I think they're taking a break from Sonic '06. Which I don't blame them since Shadow's campaign is just Sonic's but in a different order.
I honesty don't the they need much justification to take a break from Sonic '06. I am still pretty sure they are not going to be able to get through all of that game.

I imagine they have 3 options.
1. Restart Shadow campaign, and record where they left off. The problem is that they've played through the episodes already, so that part is going to probably be less entertaining than what they lost.
2. Cut their losses an continue from where they are.
3. Drop the series entirely. This one is probably the least likely.

it shows that the game is trying to do its own thing; but it would have been better if they just did a smash bros clone and added in better mechanics. forcing players to use specials to kill each other just seems wrong in a crazy brawler like this. plus like the grumps showed us, if you play it like smash it goes on for ever.

That's entirely the Grumps fault in this case. You'd let anyone who's half decent at brawlers at this who's played it before and no match would take nearly that long. Plus, of course, they'd know the movesets and such better.
Yeah, Smash had a weird HP system, but it still resulted in "Hit guy a lot." because EVENTUALLY even a light tap will fuck up a player with high enough percents. They also wanted a more platformy style, and the ring-out style suited it.
All Stars is just "HEY SMASH HAD A WEIRD KILL SYSTEM SO WE SHOULD HAVE ONE."

I really dislike All Stars. The stages are boring, and the items are pretty useless. Also some of the characters are way better than the rest (Kratos is the worst offender of this).
The finisher moves aren't balanced at all either. Some characters level 1 supers are nigh unusable, like Spike's overhead net swing, compared to other characters level 1's being there best one, like Sly's, whose comes out so fast the only way to reliably dodge it is to never be directly in front of Sly. The high end ones are even worse. Spike once again gets shafted with his kill-sat attack, while it will always hit, will only get you at most three kills, with way more time to charge up to than 3 level 1's would (and many characters can get more than one kill off their level 1's). Meanwhile, Riaden's level 3 will always get 3 kills from locking people in boxes till you mosey over to stab them, it also lasts so long you can usually get another kill on each opponent when they respawn. I once actually managed to get 9 kills off of Riadens's level 3 due to being on the Parapa stage, which is tiny.
It definitely seems silly to me that getting hit has no personal consequence to you whatsoever. Sure they're more likely to win because of the super meter they built on you, but getting hit should actually hurt somehow, that's intuitive gameplay 101.
