Hello!

I'm a team member of Roach Interactive, and we've just put a big little game out on the iOS (Universal).

It's called StarTrail, and it initially launched for $0.99 but it's free for promotion right now.

What is the game, you ask?

Well, think Bird on a Wire + UNO + Space stuff.

You control the spaceship using tilt or touch (Yes we have dual controls!!) and fly against five trails of incoming shiny objects.
The objects are of THREE shapes and FOUR colors, and are (kinda) randomly generated.
You can pick up anything to start with, but the next object has to be the same color OR the same shape. Like the card game UNO.
The colors and shapes have different point scores-Blue is the rarest color and Red the most common, similarly Orbs are the rarest and crystals the most common.

Orbs also fill up the Power bar that, once filled lets you power up, doubling speed and making you invincible.

There's also upgrades. And NO in-app purchases. It's really free.

This is a 'Hardcore Casual Game'. We didn't really intend it that way, but that's the way it turned out.
We were expecting crazy scores on the leaderboards, but no.

We're thinking of easing up on the difficulty in the next version.

01 Dec: StarTrail is free for now. We're working on an update, and expect it to be up in a few days.

02 Dec: We're thinking that maybe all we need to update is the help, instructions and tutorial. Just because it's intuitive for the devs doesn't mean it's the same with players.

I will be honest, it did not look very fun. But I was very pleasantly surprised. It was very entertaining. :^:

Honest feedback is rare and very much appreciated. Thanks! What do you have o say about the difficulty level?

I thought it was fairly good, difficulty-wise. It was challenging, and I didn't ever get a very high score (20-ish place on the leaderboard, but the scores shoot up a lot from there). But in the first ten minutes of playing a skill-based game, I wouldn't really want to be fantastic at it or for it to be too easy.
