The image size limit has been raised to 1mb! Anything larger than that should be linked to. This is a HARD limit, please do not abuse it.
Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

We are finally putting in a ticketing system. I'm going to demand a filled out description box or else I ignore their requests, no more subject line emails for me!

    Ticket# 100021
    From: User
    Category: Other, Other, Undefined
    Subject: URGENT.
    Description: URGENT.

I would guess having more pre-defined fields instead of an open text would be preferable. Even if they don't build off each other, having some options to narrow it down might get better results?

    General: Hardware/Software/Account
    Hardware Type: Laptop/Desktop/Printer/Other

The problem is that most users, even today, don't understand the conceptual separation between hardware and software, much less that between software and an "account." Banks have accounts! This isn't a bank!

And then on top of knowing the difference between hardware and software, being able to correctly tell the difference between a hardware and a software fault.

Something like a BSOD? Could be either, hard to tell.

We have one user, the subject line of every ticket she puts in says "access"
Sometimes it's because her account is locked. Sometimes she doesn't have the correct permissions in a system.
Sometimes a computer will not turn on.

No times is it because MS Access won't load.

    Hi,

I am Chetan Savade from Symantec Technical Support team.

If thread is are consuming 100 pages then this article can help you.

Symantec Endpoint Protection virus definition folder consumes a large amount of disk space

    http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH102927

If total thread size is used less than 100 pages then it's a normal.

    Regards,
    Chetan
