i'm contemplating just switching to HotS immediately now
the game feels a lot more finished at this stage of the beta than before the patch a few days ago
i'm tempted to switch simply so I have a head start on the game when it is released, because lord knows the ladder system currently a mess due to low amount of players. Dhal is in gold, which makes me wonder if some of the more ridiculous games I played on ladders were against diamonds or masters or something
when is it appropriate to make ultras. I really want to test ultras out in HotS but i'd rather not watch them melt to toss air or terran mech
and zvz rarely gets that far

Placements will be all over the place as your rank is more of a function of how much you played in the beta rather than your actual skill.
Also in general, with less players, the rankings will be tighter so better will be in the lower ranks than on live.
