Reading Age of Ultron 9, still can't figure out how the ending will affect anything in the 616 universe. Not that that's a bad thing, I'd rather be surprised with the ending than it be predictable.
They made hints at the constant time travelling in the story (and throughout the whole span of the Marvel universe I'd say) weakening time overall and how it affects things "not only on this planet" so I'd say that's a hint at the GotG story afterwards.

It's got to be Mighty Avengers because DC still has trademark over The Mighty, and it's still recent enough they could say they haven't abandoned it. It's only been five or six years.

No? It launches by tying into the event. Series have done that often. Deadpool in Secret Invasion, Ghost Rider and Journey into Mystery with Fear Itself, etc.

yeah, the idea is that these are the heroes stepping up while the "core" avengers are off in space
I am going to buy it because Ewing is a good up and coming writer and a team but starring mostly minority characters is something worth supporting despite Greg Land
