As an individual who spent years working exclusively traditionally and then switched to a bamboo I can confirm that your hand will be hurt regardless of what medium you use if you draw to excess (Which I do)

So my tablet threw a fit and temporarily lost pressure sensitivity and the ability to coherently draw curves (kept jumping to straight edges or lagging)
I drew some 30 second sketches of myself, @Nerdgasmic and @Dux in Warframe suits from the game Warframe

Nothing too serious at this point, I'm really just trying to brush the rust off. So I know that's probably a lot wrong with it, haha! If there's anything super glaring you can totally toss a tip at me, I'm just kind of messing with brushes and colors and whatever right now. Haven't been drawing much so everything feels rough.

Feel free to shoot me one now, I don't mind! Like I've said, I really haven't seriously applied myself in a long time. Bad habits hang around for years though, even when they're not getting used, and my eyes probably aren't trained at this point to pick up on stuff. I take no offense to crits and never have, so you won't make me throw my tablet in the trash or anything.

Done futzing with it! Just an exercise in.. finishing something. It's not perfect, but, I had fun and that's.. a pretty big accomplishment for me!

Photoshop brushes have come a long way since the last time I touched the program in a serious arty way. I've found a couple others too that are neat, really just by searching Tumblr/Deviantart for Photoshop Brushes.
