dead motherboard?

My computer all of a sudden shut down and I tried to turn it on. The power supply turned on along with it's fan. The videocard has a green light that lighted up. But the cpu fan and the case fan aren't working, these 2 fans depend on the motherboard. The power supply fan doesn't depend on the motherboard. I am scared the mother board is dead. I built this computer roughly 6-8 months ago. Any advice on what to do? I might have to return it or RMA whatever I am suppose to do. I'm in a crappy situation I depend on this computer very much, any help would be appreciated.

    Alright I found the problem, one of the plugs connected to the mother board was loose, close thread please. Glad my computer is fine:).
