EDIT: Okay, is it a 'bad attitude' if I tell someone that I think they built bad items? Apparently Yi is reporting me for 'harassment' because I told him that Nashor's Tooth was a bad item to build (Rageblade too, but whatever, I certainly focused on the rushed Tooth).
I mean, it's just bad. It just is. I don't understand how it's offensive to tell someone that they built a bad item, unless they're emotionally attached to it for some reason.

SotD is hilarious on a lot of champions. They're the best on asshole champions.
Actually, I'm having a hard time determining who exactly is an Asshole champion. The only ones I'm confidant on are Shaco and Blitzcrank. Not many champs piss me off; except Fizz. Fuck Fizz.

If I were to make bans based purely on desire to not play against, rather than a combination of desire to not play against and chance to actually have to play against

Not only unfun to lane/play against personally, but your teammates will lose to them and it will dramatically alter the game in a negative way.
Then probably Nidalee for similar reasons, Yorick because even most people who are generally willing to play the dumbest champion ever just because it's strong look at Yorick and realize he makes everyone involved hate everything involved and decide not to play Yorick.

I am sorry Sampsen I've been busy with my family for the holidays, and honestly, my last week in the league has been pretty awful.
My tales would be game after game of doing pretty well and then not being able to close the deal in the end. Kind of like Pacstar's love life. That story's only really good the first time. After that, it's just kinda sad.
I've been duoing a ton of ranked with Frolic lately, but wouldn't mind getting in some normals. Just expect me to play top, expect me to be playing x champion for a ton of games in a row and expect me to be picking into good and bad matchups. If you are alright with this possibly costing us games, then I will happily play with you. I've got a lot of learning to do concerning playstyles, matchups, builds, etc. I've played ad carry for so long that I didn't realize how little I knew about everything else in the game.
Champs that will be learned over the next 1-2 months: Vi, Kennen, Darius, Vlad. I could be talked into Yorick, Volibear or Garen if someone is willing to take the time to explain why they are better than one of the 4 on my to-learn list.
Edit - I also do more reading, watching, and posting of lol than I play. I get anxiety sometimes about queueing. Not because of my internet number, but because the thought of letting down people I don't know really bothers me. I'm perfectly fine losing if it isn't my fault. It can be annoying, but it doesn't bother me.
OK, so after Jar's latest Talon post I started playing him in Dom again. And now my new years resolution is to learn Talon mid. So far it's one loss, where I did well but another lane lost hard and one decisive win. The most fun was getting sword of the divine in the second game and using it to burst down their ap, then blowing my entire combo on the ad carry. So much damages.

The "asshole" champions really aren't any more powerful than other champions, they just have aspect to them that people hate. It's not like it's easier to win a game with them, especially if you aren't familiar with them.
Honestly the difference between "high tier" and "low tier" champs is not so great that it has that much impact on a game. Not until you start getting into the 2000+ elo.
Anything before that is almost entirely play skill and then champ matchups. People need to shed this whole "Tier" mentality until they are high enough Elo that it actually matters.

Yeah, Darius can suck and he can be the most annoying multi-dunk thing on the planet and not fun to play against. That doesn't make him OP, that just makes him less fun to play against.

The thing about playing solo queue Darius is if your opponent doesn't know how to adjust to how much of a lane asshole he is, then he snowballs lane and starts roaming before midgame even starts. This can win you mid lane and dragons while his lane opponent is stuck top desperately trying to catch up in farm (or roaming ineffectually). Once he has a couple kills and hits 6, even a 2v1 gank might just end up giving him a double kill, and it's a guaranteed double kill for him if his jungler counterganks.
The best way for a team to shutdown a good Darius is to actually have your jungler shut him down pre-6. If he doesn't and your top loses by a large margin, your team just lost the midgame because of how destructive Darius is in small skirmishes. I hate being Mid/Bot and walking into a bush near Dragon and finding a Darius in it because our Top couldn't keep him in check.
A lot of the best solo queue champions are the ones that forces your opponents to adjust in specific manners and horribly punishes them for not doing so. Shaco, Nocturne, Blitzcrank, Darius, TF, Malphite, Amumu, etc. There's a reason most of these champs have been nerfed or are almost always banned. The trick is to find the ones not solo queue meta popular at the moment, like Shaco and TF.

This is a perfect example, Darius is always called such bullshit but he had a very hard time actually carrying and outside his ult isn't that big a deal. The key is to just not feed him a bunch of kills early, but that's true for pretty much ANY champ.

Yeah, Darius can suck and he can be the most annoying multi-dunk thing on the planet and not fun to play against. That doesn't make him OP, that just makes him less fun to play against.
The idea that the level of bullshit a champion brings to the team affects it's tier is dumb.
(Although a pro team featuring all the most hated champions going through ranked 5's like butter would be the greatest youtube series ever, EVER, or just the chat logs).
The best way for a team to shutdown a good Darius is to actually have your jungler shut him down pre-6. If he doesn't and your top loses by a large margin, your team just lost the midgame because of how destructive Darius is in small skirmishes. I hate being Mid/Bot and walking into a bush near Dragon and finding a Darius in it because our Top couldn't keep him in check.
A lot of the best solo queue champions are the ones that forces your opponents to adjust in specific manners and horribly punishes them for not doing so. Shaco, Nocturne, Blitzcrank, Darius, TF, Malphite, Amumu, etc. There's a reason most of these champs have been nerfed or are almost always banned. The trick is to find the ones not solo queue meta popular at the moment, like Shaco and TF.
