I love the fact that the illusion looks a lot like Jim.

To all the people in the last thread saying "why is she going with them? That doesn't make sense!" we salute you!

Also, I understand that Robot Santa is actually quite busy this time of year making presents for good little robot boys and robot girls, so I appreciate Tube filling in and getting this thread up.

Also also just wanted to say that I love this set of strips.

Yeah, I want more like this.

Guess that explains Jim's ridiculous expressions in part 2.

Just remember that half the people you meet are below average intelligence.

This one really does it for me. It explains the expressions in part two, like SiliconStew said, and I presume it also explains why Jim "just wasn't feeling it" when asked to "ensorcle" the guards. Continuity done right!

Explaining the faces from earlier really makes me happy. Thanks for being good at what you do. I assume when ever they do something like that and people pile on to the forums to point it out, it makes them immensely happy/sad.

Oh man this took me a moment cause I couldn't figure out what was going on in the first panel.

But then I read the second one and laughed loud and long.

    What a twist!

    Oh shiiiiiii...

Last panel cracks me up, too. I'm glad we got a punchline to see us out.

What is this I don't even.

Calling it now: at least one of the party made out with the illusion lady.

    Let the delicious awkward commence.

I did note a certain resemblance before, but I guessed that she was a sister or other relative.

I'm not running a game right now, but I would totally love to slip something like this past all of my players (even the one whose character is casting it). Idea stolen.

Since the member most likely to do that is probably Jim....that'd easily be a few steps beyond deliciously awkward in my book.

Who knows what he's doing in that pocket-dimension, "Rope Trick" bachelor pad when he's all alone and the power goes out.

I had the strange idea that a twist like this would be something that a player might bring to the table and spring it on the DM! I have no idea how one would set that up though.

It's gotten pretty easy in the age of email and texts and so forth. The game I'm currently running has a lot of intrigue, with players secretly spying on each other and so forth, and a lot of this sort of thing is handled behind the scenes between game sessions or during game sessions via IM.

And good thing PA is so obscure too, your dungeons and dragons players will probably never trace it back to the source

Was expecting something, but not this! The continuity of it all really riles my jimmies! So riled!

Also, I never noticed that Jim had purple Irises before. Swoon!
