far cry 3 is a pretty cool game except it can't decide whether it wants to be about dudes being insane and manipulated by a charismatic leader or like an extended dream sequence or a long joke about how the rich white guy really is better or what
yeah i did the mission where you save eliza or whoever a few nights ago
and it had some neat moments where it's like okay jason seems to actually really enjoy this shit, more than he should be considering how fucked up it is. and then the game just drops it, when that could be an interesting character arc to explore
i have a feeling the whole game is just gonna be that. false starts and sort of aimless wandering between plot ideas. if far cry picked one or two and just really dug into them, it'd probably have gotten a much better reception
