They also have Shogun 2 for 7.50 (@Heroth since you just asked about it), and Alan Wake's American Nightmare for 3.75 of Steamworks stuff.
huh... showing as 29 dollars for me, i'll keep an eye out for it to drop, i've waited awhile for it and i have other games to play, thanks though!
You're right, it was on their front page and was just removed. Might've been a daily from yesterday that was ending (they put up their new dailies around this time, which is what Viking is).

Sooo, my friend wants to trade a darksiders 1 code for the warhammer bundle. Any takers? I realize this is a dubious deal.
I mentioned this in chat, but...the wife has discovered the Steam thread. As what might be termed the lurkiest of lurkers, who isn't aware of the PA community per se, she appears to confound expectation s of intimidation, and says you are all awesome.
Hang on now, @CroakerBC. She should have known about the Steam thread previously, no?
(De-lurk, Mrs. Croaker! You will be warmly received.)
Using the amazing power of Goldfish Memory, I pointed out that you were right, and she had, indeed, seen Steam Thread before, and managed to forget it existed for 9 months. This 'pointing stuff out' was not a wise decision. Now I have to take the recycling out. I blame you for this, @Iolo. If I don't come back, if the horrible rain and gale force winds rip me away from the driveway, be sure to sing songs in my memory.
@RoyceSraphim : That bit of footage looks amazing, and I wish to sign up for your newsletter.
Finally, having caught up on thread, I've been in a bit of a gifting skirmish with @Commander Zoom ; mate, I am going to turn down your Double Fine Bundle, not because Costume Quest, Iron Brigade and Psychonauts aren't awesome, but because I already own Psychonauts, and I'm not going to deprive someone else of the opportunity to enjoy it. Still downright classy of you, and I wanted to get that in-thread.

Nah, she just reads over my shoulder, tells me you're all very nice, and then makes fun of me. So, basically, like Chat.
I considered luring her into posting, then realised this would be terrible for me, and hilarious for you.
@CroakerBC is a pretty cool guy and doesn't afraid of anything.
many thanks for HAWX2, silly name but fun game. I will live out many Top Gun fantasies in your honour.

@Viking has caused a gifting skirmish, and now I have Dustforce and Krater. This way lies madness
How's this game, guys? I've heard it fights a bit like Dark Souls, which would be quite a glowing recommendation, but I trust you people more than random internet comments :P.
I played it on consoles ages ago and remember liking it. Dont know if I'd say it was Dark Soulsish though, but it has been a while. The port is supposed to not be the best from what I hear.

This is escalating quickly, @CroakerBC counter-attacks with the XCOM:Slingshot DLC

It isn't really like Dark Souls. It's a bit wonky, but fun. It's open, you basically go from area to area and can do various things like assault bases, rescue prisoners, etc, all to bolster your army and capture other settlements which leads to a large army battle with your entire army vs. theirs. Standard skills and equipment for your character, some loot, things like that. The large battles are fun (and impressive considering it was a console game) and the combat is pretty good.

also, just want to throw out a recommendation for Fall of the Samurai before it goes off sale. It's better than the base game, and you don't need the base game to play it! I have akathisia (which is maddening at times) and these games are some of the only ones that I can sit for hours and play without a care in the world, they are just very engrossing, especially FotS.

I eventually surrendered to @Viking after being got with Red Alert 3: Uprising.
Let it be known that @Viking is very classy indeed. I will avenge myself when a daily comes up with his name on.

That's the kind of shit I'll throw $1.50 down on without hesitation

You're doing it wrong.
You should have at least 30 minutes of CTDs thrown in there as well.

I played it for almost 12 hours today...
What's that? It crashed on you 12 times already? Glad I can't afford it then.
No clue how long this lasts. This price wasnt announced upfront (and they even have a specific date set for it on CAG for a higher price). Steam.
Edit- Looks like it's 12/23-12/25
