When you mouse over the {Reason}, it comes up with a textbox saying "Reason: so and such". This is presumably to prevent unsightly long edit explanations visible to everyone.
Oh, I see; thank you. That's really not very intuitive of VB. Perhaps the text could be changed to 'hover for reason' or somesuch? Or even just 'why?' or 'reason?' with question marks, to make people investigate. 'Tisn't a very much used feature anyway though.

I agree that it's not at all obvious that's how it works. Before I saw somebody mention it, I assumed it was just broken and on the list of things to fix.
