This is planned for 8am on Thursday morning at Friendly Toast in Kendall Square. They say that can hold as many people as we can bring. Challenge accepted!

BTW: There's no hard limit to the number of people we can bring, so even if you're not signed up, feel free to just show up the day of.

Edit: Just called, they're opening up the back room for us, just say you're with the PAX Breakfast and they should be able to guide you to where you need to be.

Old OP:
Hey all! PAX East draws closer every day, and I know some of us (myself included) will be arriving on Wednesday (be it for enforcing or just to explore Boston). So I was thinking a few of us might want to get together for a breakfast Thursday morning before we head off for the day. Some of you may remember I planned one of these a few years back, but wound up missing it because I got stupendously lost (stupid Boston roads).

So my question is thus: would anyone be interested in grabbing some breakfast? This would probably be around 8am (early I know) so as not to conflict with the MMT.

Update: We're starting to get a lot more people interested in this, so I'm going to have to find a place that takes reservations! If anyone has a recommendation, let me know.

    I might be in on that deal. I just take the trains in to Boston and back so it's not a big deal for me. As for good breakfast places that can accept a larger than normal amount of people I'd have to do some research on that matter.

    Last time we went to Torntons by the preu, they don't take reservation but they have a lot of tables so I've rarely had an issue getting seating.

    Your best bet may be the Friendly Toast in Cambridge. It's right off the Kendall T Station, its supposed to be pretty awesome (I haven't been there myself), they open at 8 AM, and they're big enough to host functions. http://www.thefriendlytoast.net/

    My girlfriend and I will be heading up the the area Wednesday night so I am at least super interested in doing this. And I will be doing my best to drag her along. It also gets us into the city to explore before the pre-pax game night.

    We went to Friendly Toast the first time we went to Pax East (years ago) and we have been trying to make it back ever since. I highly recommend the Cheesy Fries with Strawberry Habenero dip. Wasn't hot at all, but highly delicious.

    OR you could walk (take the Silver Line if you really don't want to walk) to the Red Line, and get off at Kendall Square for less than 2 bucks.

    I talked to the place, and they said they can have a room for us if I call about a week in advance. I'll make a little sign for the table anyways.

    Just noticed I'm listed under the interested attendees. I'd love to go, but its not going to happen. I've only been jumping in this thread as a Bostonian who loves food, looking to help out-of-towners.
