Annarchy would make a perfect tomboy newsie. All standing on the corner yelling EX-TREE EX-TREE! And she'll have all the dirt on the local goings-on. She wants to grow up and be a detective like her Uncle Tycho, but she's actually much more hardcore a detective than he is.
I would love the punctuation guy. Is he the period? It could work with the style, like an old newsreel, grainy film type thing. It could even be a mini-game. The lack of suggestions for his inclusion clearly demonstrates the need. He must really get under some of your paddle-slapping skins, you dirty paddle-slappers!
Yeah, I mean you, paddle-slapper. Why don't you go slap a paddle?

I really really really want to see the radioactive scorpions. Probably my favorite comic series inside of PA. I demanded that Mike draw one in on the beach poster I purchased. He was confused for a second and remarked that usually people want things drawn in an empty space or out of the way space on the poster "like in the sky" and not as part of the scenery.
My question is, are these characters you want to merely see in the game, such as in a picture on the wall, or do you want one step above that, such as you pass them on the street and maybe say hi to them but they really have no critical gameplay, or do you want characters that are included in a critical faculty of some sort.
For instance, I want Jim in there as somehow part of the game, not just a nod to the fans. Radioactive scorpions too. And Darktalon. And now that you reminded me of him, Taramoor, Brian and William as well. I think Annarchy would serve as a great character who is at all the save points or gives you info along the way. She can be the receptionist at their detctive agency, phoning in tips as they go along. Div should be in here, too.
The wives should be characters that you get to meet, not just their photos on the desk, but I wouldnt expect them to be in the gameplay. Answertron 2000 would be another good one in this category, I think... Twisp and Catsby should probably be in this sort of capacity too, someone you meet along the way, possibly more than once, but not be critical in the game.
Jesus and Charles can be mentioned but I am not too interested in them being critical players. Gus should be here too, he deserves a nod. Obviously there should be wombats all over the place. John Romero should get a mention, too. An eggplant shaped like Abraham Lincoln wouldnt be too shabby either, come to think of it.
I have been thinking about it, and I would like to see Raven, the elite artist asshole form the Mac Ad, in there as well. Either as someone you decimitae in your glory, or as someone you watch getting crapped on.
However, I say that because of my own personal anti-Mac agenda. Now that PA has kind of turned, at least in some part, I wonder what kind of role Chuck and Raven and any other Mac enthusaist may have in the game. We have seen Chuck helping out Gabe and Tycho in recent comics, when the convert to Mac first began... so who knows. I hope they obliterate them all to hell. But we will see, I suppose.
a living jim would be great, actually, i hadnt even thought of it. an N64 buddy.
on that note, non sequitur - why and how would a skeleton become the necromaster of a swarm of the undead? I suppose he doesnt have a brain any longer (???) so they wouldnt be tempted... But Gabe and Tycho had a Zombie room mate. Tycho even gave him a sweater. Why wouldnt HE be the zombie necromaster?
and back on subject, i had forgotten that we had seen frank so many times prior to Armadeddon. Somehow in my mind the boss at EB and Frank didnt come together...His role in that saga was so... visceral... that I had forgotten about his earlier appearances, but have been reading some back episodes and had my poor, poor memory updated... as such, i agree, he would be a great ally in the game. a character that joins your party that you cant really trust not to go crazy and kill everyone, yourself included...

Zombies have a complete and total lack of leadership skills. Why do you think you never see them in management?
I had never really entertained the thought of a living Jim. He'd be a great character to kill-off dramatically since there'd be no reprocussions from the 'fans'.
well. the reprucissions from the fans would be the fact that Jim dies while lost in the maze of cables behind the TV while trying to install the N64, and Gabe found him...
however, i think i could deal with a departure from canon to see jim die in some dramatic way...
I guess I kind of took Fruit Fucker Prime for granted, seeing as you see all of the regular Fruit Fuckers in the preview, I assumed the chances of FFPrime were pretty damn good...

perhaps gabe could suffer some kind of head trauma and bring us into some kind of CTS minigame level.

Fellow?
Ain't he in the background of the trailer?
look at the pictures during the intro sequence.
It would be funny if Safety Monkey tried to join your party, and you agreed and told him to meet you somewhere, and then never show up.
Lets see who else... the news reporter guy, what's his name, Randy? Haven't seen him for a while.
I hope the Cat shows up, and does something awesome in a deus ex machina sort of way.
Yeah, I mean you, paddle-slapper. Why don't you go slap a paddle?
...
She's supposed to be Tycho's neice. Loli? Man, what's wrong with you?
She's also confirmed as in.
I'm thiking Twisp and Catsby will be an easter egg.
Div will make an appearance of some sort (I hope)
I'm betting that Mordo will be a boss type guy of some sort in one of the episodes at least.
CTS deserves his own game. After RSPD is over with perhaps.
I'm told his name is Thomas Kemper.
I tried asking if he was going to be in the game during the Q&A, but I never got a response
and he failed TCP/IP
Randy Pinkhurst the newscaster would be great, possibly as a newspaper reporter to better fit in with the themes.
Also, is that really Mordo in the painting?
He could totally be made to fit in.
I mean... just LOOK at him.
He's too awesome not to have a cameo at least.

Well screw that.
I could swear it was Randy Pinkwood.
Yeah, it's Pinkwood.
I don't see Mordo, but there is someone that looks kinda like Charles on the wall next to Tycho.
There's also a painting of Jesus to the right of Gabe at the end of the 2D part of the trailer.
Yep, my bad. Wonder where I got Pinkhurst from.
I'm pretty sure that is charles, and I'm sure the old guy is supposed to be someone, but who?
That fellow there? I'm afraid you're sorely mistaken if you think that's Mordo, it looks nothing like him.
Who will wrestle Gus?!

What if he starts out as a living Jim, but by episode's end is the necro/dungeonmaster we all know and love?

He'll be on boxes of absinthe-flavored meth.
...hey, it's set in the nineteenth century, right?
