Can a Kindle Fire (or similar reader) display books full screen on a large tv?
So I wanted to buy some digital copies of art reference books and I wanted to know if Kindles format their books properly when hooked up to a television set. The Kindle app on my phone is just mirroring the display instead of scaling, and I can't see a ~7" inch screen making them any better. I'd reckon that being able to view them clearly on a screen several times that size, would work out.
Really, that's... about it. Does a kindle do that?
edit: I do use the cloud reader on my computer, and it comes out okay there... but my tv monitor is over twice as large as my computer's monitor and the logistics of hooking my PC to my TV just don't work at all.

Clarification: What's happening is that when I hook my phone to my tv, the contents of the books are still using a single column layout and at the same resolution as my iphone. So if an image would be scaled to the point where I cannot read the notes on it due to its size, or the caption text for the image would be on another page on my phone, it is on my tv.
I am hoping that the kindle would recognize that I am using a much larger screen and not scale the images down to that point and/or keep them with captions because it has a lot more real estate to work with.
edit: here is what I mean:
All of the orange is wasted real estate on my television, and the text on the image is difficult to read without zooming, and the orientation of the screen doesn't make a difference.

Yea, I was talking with someone about this and they said the same thing about the regular kindles not being able to do that. I just recently switched over from buying ebooks from the apple store to amazon, so I don't have one. I'm not really particular about what it is, I just want it to use the screens more effectively. I didn't really want to buy a tablet either since I already carry my work laptop and my phone.
