Surround Sound Speaker Question

useless4useless4 Registered User regular
Finishing up my quick and dirty home theater, using Polks that came with the wife.
There are four satellite speakers... two larger than the others. Wife and I are disagreeing about which ones should be the fronts and which should be the rears.

What do you guys think? Small ones in the front or the back

Generally speaking the front (left, right, and center) speakers are the most important and convey most of the sound. Rear and side speakers are small and used mostly for softer surround sound effects.
