Quickscopers are awful people because generally it sucks and you get to kill them a lot, but when it's working it works for the whole game and you get shot in the most ridiculous ways possible. If there ever comes a time when I lose a close range fight to a sniper while I have a shotgun and don't briefly consider breaking my controller or headset I will have to quit playing.
Knifing isn't as good in this game, but with the right connection it can be brutal. I miss a lot of knives so I tend not to bother using it. If theater mode worked I would have put up a hilarious video of me and somebody on here who I forget where we tried to knife each other ten times each until the game decided to give me the benefit of the doubt and the kill.
We had a really nice run in demo. Our first loss came to a game we joined in progress which probably would have been fine if Vacorsis hadn't gotten kicked out as well leaving Amish and me with a bunch of dumb randoms. I love demo a lot in this game. Even if we made Holi rage quit with it.

I've been playing console FPSes long enough that KBAM kind of aggravates me. Humans don't have zero rotational intertia. It feels weird to me now to sit down at a PC and for the view to start twitching and jerking with every motion of my wrist. I can still do it well enough, but I don't prefer it any more.

I'm pretty sure the change to only same-continent lobbies is going to fuck me pretty hard by overly limiting the number of people I can connect to well.
I'm usually better off connected to a Japanese lobby than to players from the Midwest or East coast. Changing it to accept any connection will probably suck even worse. Guess I'll see how playable the game is for me in 2 weeks. expectations are extremely low.

Console BF3 is still a good game by the subjective measure of "I'm enjoying it and don't regret my purchase." CQ Domination is way better than BlOps2 Domination (which to be fair is worse than Quake64 multiplayer). Not sure if I like it better than BC2, though. Some things are better; others are worse.

It did need more health because I one shotted that thing with a Saiga before and it doesn't take much shooting to kill it, and it sucks at killing people. Awesome airburst EMPs are the way to go.

yeah it did need a boost in health, but the force of the stinger missile simply hitting it would knock it clear out of the sky. That and fucking attack helicopters and lodestars have less health than it now.
You guys are seriously complaining about the dragonfire buff? Seriously, that thing was horrendous. I think I averaged two kills with it when I used it. It needed a buff.
And people really need to stop bringing up real world logic with this game. Pretty sure that boat sailed the second they decided you could heal just by taking cover for a few seconds.

They need to up the speed of the Stinger rocket. I had 2 doing laps around Nuketown chasing a Warthog but never hit. One fired towards the nose of it on a run. And another at its tail pipe. I kinda blankly watched the missiles drunkenly chase the plane but never came close to hitting it.
You can't shoot a Warthog with a Stinger so that's not going to help, but it is indeed way too fucking slow.
Got my second VTOL and I did much better with it this time now that I know how to shoot the missiles and the enemy didn't want to shoot it down. That's the nice thing about the VTOL unlocking so early is that I just throw it on and hope for the best and it worked.
