Sejuani is actually less popular than support Nidalee (in my experiences). I think that a lot of people say that she doesn't do anything special, there are other picks that do the same thing more effectively. If you get ahead with her she is kind of funny just because she can build Liandry's and fat into people for days and live on their tears as they can't get away.

Wouldn't you need Improved CV in order to make it worth it? I can see what you mean though. Knowing where the enemy is going can do a lot for how you respond as far as holding points go.

People are too fond of fighting in bottom lane, need all the summoners you can eeke out. If you were top lane dom, it would make a lot more sense since you would need fewer combat summoners due to there being more people
I'm talking about the power of the spell itself. The cooldown is short, the range is huge, and with the mastery it keeps on revealing even after they leave the area. You would think that someone would have figured out how to make good use out of it on SR.
With the prevalence of wards and heavy (but time-spaced) teamfighting in SR, combat/movement summoners are far more valuable than on Dominion where fights are constant but there is 0 vision. CV is up far more often and the vision it provides is far more valuable than an exhaust or ignite every fourth fight on Dominion.

So it looks like they are happy with the tresh style passive buildup and are testing it out on Nasus, Veigar, and Sion.
So they might change their passives? I like Nasus' passive.
Unless Talith knows something I don't, he was being unclear with that post. On the PBE the bonuses are doubled for kills of large minions, monsters, and champions. Which is more like Thresh, but isn't close enough to be called "Thresh-style" in my opinion...
Incorrect -- Thresh has functionally no cap on soul collection.
We are trying this mechanic out on Nasus/Veigar/Sion in the hopes of generating some extra tension over siege minions in lane and enhancing their versatility on non-SR maps. Also, it's cool.

Sej's problem is that you either have the money for her to be super tanky and deal lots of damage with her W, or she has no money and deals no damage and dies immediately every fight. The reason why Sej is a bad champion is because she has this problem on top of being a very slow farmer.
All she really needs is a useful passive, and for her Q to give her free armor and MR. She'd still be boring, but at least she'd be decent.
Is it weird I think Sejuani might be fun? She seems about as popular as support Nidalee.
Sejuani is "okay", but she's outclassed by Mundo, Amumu, and Nautilus in basically every way, and her design is stupid. Then again, Mundo outclasses a lot of people these days, and she's getting a rework at some point.

She doesn't feel good at the moment but she's still one of my go to junglers just because of how enjoyable she is.
People say she has a very generic kit but I don't care, it's about equal to Vi in terms of making you feel like the big bulky chick on a boar.
Vi = 100% uptime on punching things.
If you're stopping to consider how to punch things, or believe you can take a break you aren't punching effectively.
