I don't see why some other casters can't just watch the korean stream and talk over them.
a masters league player on NA called Nathaniel does that nearly every broadcast. He doesn't broadcast the video because that would be infringing, so he just talks and you kinda hope he and the offical stream are synced.

09-05-13 - Bacchus OSL, Round of 36 - GoRush vs BackHo on Holy World. GoRush was disqualified for typing "ㅎㅎ" instead of "gg" (ㅎㅎshows up if you have a Korean keyboard and you type key corresponding to "g" without changing the setting to English.)

He wasn't even worried about winning that engagement in the middle, just do enough damage to make the terran turn around and he can recover easily with his superior economy.

Yeah and he's won a couple of games with it. But god damn it was a close thing. That middle fight was literally the perfect engagement for him. If it wasn't so good, he had a chance to lose. As it was, it was way closer than it should have been. If he had gone for a more conventional composition, he would have crushed the attack period, then won the game from there.

I doubt he'd have been able to put on the same early mid game pressure to get so far ahead by that point with a regular composition, though.

Its by far the best choice on that map against that Terran style. With a more conventional ling infestor or ling bling or muta style he would have been in a lot more trouble. You can't play passive Zerg against a Terran on Antiga, so you have to be aggressive, but the map geography on Antiga doesn't allow ling bling to be aggressive - it's too reliant on a surround, whereas roach and roach/hydra can do well with just a good concave, rather than needing a surround.

Naw his early/mid game stuff was all roach ling. He transitioned to hydras after. If he had gone for infestors instead, it would have made the game a sure thing. He barely used his hydras as it is, since he transitioned to ultras.

I think you're underestimating the hydralisk usefulness. They killed a lot of medivacs and killed the third command centre. That, right there, the death of the third CC, was the beginning of the end of the game.
The ultra/hydra at the end worked really well, but the hydras were too slow in that middle surround to be very effective. Roaches would've handled that particular engagement better, and it was the lings that cleaned everything up.
Roach hydra is surprisingly strong in ZvT, you just can't attack into big sieged up tank lines.
I was pretty confused he didn't just surround and kill that army when he scouted it moving around unsieged.
I made a game! Hotline Maui. Requires mouse and keyboard.

casters didn't point this out - those four roaches that died killing Hydra's third actually ended up taking three of Hydra's low hp roaches with them, so he traded one roach for a hatch cancel and drone kill.
This map seems hilariously bad PvZ though, or is JYP just misplaying it really badly? (not that unexpected if it is the case)

If JYP isn't totally fucked I'll be really surprised.

I've seen ultra/hydra a few times in hots. picture what stephano is playing with better hydras (which are great at picking off widow mines as it happens)

There's one person that does. Nathanias. Stream is here:
If you use the raidcall link he has on his stream, there's no delay.

Nice. Thanks.
It's a mixture of sad, pathetic, and concerning to me.
Okay good, he's not going to lose because of it. But god damn dude.
I doubt he'd have been able to put on the same early mid game pressure to get so far ahead by that point with a regular composition, though.
it's impossible right? because hydras are useless and all
