Whoa.. I just had a brilliant idea.. What if time warp was reversed? Everything in it doesn't slow down, it speeds up. So it doesn't inhibit your opponent's micro, it improves your own. Everything in the bubble is on fucking speed.
I don't think that was the goal of making hellbats bio. I think Blizz had pure mech in mind and tried to make mech drops relevant since you won't be making marine drops, and also beef up the hellion "meatshield" in front of the rest of the mech army. In my opinion.
I'm pretty sure Blizzard explicitly said that they wanted hellbats to be mixed in with bio as well when they made that change.

making units faster wouldn't improve your micro - it'd increase your own apm requirements to be able to continue to micro.

Okay "improve" is the wrong word to use, but, like you said, it would give you an opportunity to micro to a greater degree. Isn't that what everyone's been asking for? Don't take away people's ability to micro, encourage it.
mmmm I love me some void rays in PvP fights. Great at melting through colossus while they're shooting at your gateway units so when it matters at the end of the fight, you have more colossus than he does.
0-2 as zerg today, 3-1 as protoss today. including one stellar quick 3-gate hold I performed using pheonix, a void ray, some zeelots, and my mothership (had to learn the timewarp keybind today luls)
Does anyone happen to have a spare beta key? I have a friend who would be interested, but she just got WoL a bit ago so probably isn't going to put $40 or whatever down to preorder it anytime soon.

I looked on my connection info page (no idea why I didn't check before) and it says 14.6gb. That's probably the whole client though, since there's no way it downloaded that much in this short space of time on my shitty internet connection.

I've begun just 6pooling prots, feels like that have just slightly worse win chance than roach/ling bust, and at least it's over quick.
Yep. I'm intent on finishing it before the exp drops, even though they've now said the old achievements will be in HotS as well.
It's funny I've started touching diamond league by cheesing all day long, MMR-wise, since I'm really mid-high silver if I try to play a "normal" game.
I still think Protoss cannon rushes are the easiest of cheese to execute with the lowest cost if it fails.
Terran is 2nd since they can lift their buildings back.
Zerg cheese, though strong, can tend to be more all-inish.
I'd say pool rushes are the exception, where you can recover your eco back if you do at least some damage with the lings.
But yeah, out of all the cheese I run into, I'd say 60% is from Toss, 30% is Terran, 10% is Zerg.
I don't consider a roach bane all-in cheese. It's ridiculously easy to scout the lack of a third base and geyser count.
The only cheese builds that I'm afraid of playing against are proxy 1 gate and 6/7 pool. Everything else is either scoutable (roach rush, proxy marauder), so allin they have to straight up kill you (2gate), or ineffective against someone who knows what to do (cannon rush).
