I have £15 to spend at Waterstones, the local Bookshop chain.

    Recommend some books!

A collection of short stories by Jorge Luis Borges, ideally Labyrinths but any collection with Tlon Uqbar Orbis Tertius will do.

    Cosmicomics by Italo Calvino.

Neuromancer if you have not read it.

You all should try being ridiculously good looking, it's rad!

I think I am going to stop telling people when I am going to the gym.

The 30 minutes I had the gym completely to myself were amaaaaaaaaazing!

Some friends of mine are all "dude, your weight loss is awesome! Lets gym together and work on it like a team" and I really don't want to because I work better by myself

also I like only having myself to blame if I fuck up

having a good spotter is amazing though

    get those big lifts

    need those good spots

and also sometimes they'll bark at you and make you giggle while you're lifting a dangerous amount of weight above your head, just like a real bro should

Today's adventure in fuzzy matching: I need to "view group index", so I absentmindedly type a few starting characters from each word.

Lean back, discover that I wrote "viewgroin".

Apparently this mountain chain (the one stretching across all of Norway) lacks a proper name.

As I suspected before I signed off last night, dicking around in [chat] until quarter past one in the morning is seeming like a very poor decision with the benefit of todays hindsight.

Well they're going to be named after suggestions from the public, so why not.

apart from that not being a norwegian name at all, of course.

Team gym is the best gym (for me).

The performance pressure means I end up lifting more than I normally would. Also, there's more freedom to try out mysterious things you don't understand

Both statements are true, yes. It's a correlation.

A man got severely beaten in Bergen after a "game" involving his wallet.

The game the perpetrator played was coming from behind, throwing unsuspecting people to the ground and stealing their wallet.

When the man wanted his wallet back the perp beat him severely for being unsporting I guess

this doesn't really sound like a fun game
