If you just want Eevees in general (and not hidden ability Eevees in particular) you can actually catch them right in Castelia City. There's a path through the sewers that comes up into a little walled-in park area with Eevees as a rare encounter.
Would anyone be willing to trade me a Pichu, Pikachu or Raichu? I don't think I have much worth trading unless you want a starter type pokemon from any generation or a rare candy or something. Even a trade back would be fine so I could at least have seen one to look on the GTS for myself.

I'd kinda like to see them run with some kind of pipefish design, perhaps a three stage evolution for a Water/ Dragon mon. I figure the design would suit the typing really well.

So, silly question time, but since this is a thing, I've kind of had an itch to get back into Pokemon.
If I really, really didn't like Black/White, does Black/White 2 do anything that'll change my mind, or should I just wait on X/Y? Mostly I just hated the story ("You guys are just slavers and we will liberate your pokemon with our pokemon that are totally not slaves because we totally are only in this for just causes") and the world was really boring. I'm pretty sure I didn't actually mind the cast of pokemon offered, but I don't remember a whole lot.
For what it's worth, the climax was pretty cool. I didn't care much for the rest of the story, and I just skipped the parts that talked about the power of friendship or whatever.
But playing Pokémon for its story is like watching porn for the plot.

The Team Plasma grunts have pretty much devolved to bog-standard Team Rocket behavior in BW2. I didn't actually play the original Black/White, so I can't do a direct comparison, but there was barely a shred of what I assume was their prior ecoterrorist ideology in their pre-battle banter.

That....doesn't really make it better? Maybe it was a problem with presentation/execution, but it was kind of obvious that nobody in Team Plasma shared N's ambitions (in so much as actually acting on them) and just because N wasn't observant enough to notice that (or active enough to work in any fashion but through his underlings), it doesn't make it any less flawed. An actual Pokemon Liberation Movement could possibly be a good concept, but it certainly was not Team Plasma's motivation by any stretch, perceived or not, and it would be obvious to anyone who watched any of them operate for about five minutes, give or take.
I mean, yes, it is silly to really 'care' about the story in Pokemon games, and as a general rule I don't, but when it goes as poorly as it did in Black/White, I can't just roll my eyes and ignore it for the entire game.
It works to showcase how out of touch N actually is. Nobody in the actual game world bought their nonsense except for him and he was raised in a really screwed up environment. It's hinted heavily that N was just allowed to leave the castle when the game starts.

Yeah, I thought that it purposefully contrasted N's attitude with that of the average Grunt rather quickly, and put Ghetsis in the spotlight right off the bat to show who was really pulling the strings. It's not a plot hole, it's good storytelling. Really, the game has the best story out of all of them thus far, IMO, considering that N and both of your rivals have complete and well thought out character arcs, and the Champion is actually interesting and has motivations outside of being mysteriously helpful and fighting you at the end.
Although, BW2 managed some moments where such ideals were called into question. The "Who is on Who's" side stuff I liked when it came to Old Plasma vs New Plasma. Then again, these were more moments than full on story.
Also, can I just say, I hate Eeveelutions. Hate them. Hate the speculation, the ideas, the fan art. Eevee is such an abused concept. Everybody has ridden Eevee. I'm not even a prat who only enjoys the originals or some crap like that. But I do think Eevee can sit the 'F down in the creativity department.

Guys, I seem to recall there were npcs I could talk to for random loot on a daily basis (in postgame Black 2). I can't find the previous pokemon thread anymore, so does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?
Isn't Dragon the last of the Special? I'd hope that one comes before they start with other kinds of Eevee. But I'm not all that interested in making Eevees for everything. Unless they make a whole generation all Eevee, because hilarious.
