back in the day my aunt had a rural house and they had a pretty large rabbit habitat. They claimed there were rabbits in there but I never saw them, then one day while we were visiting a fox got into the bunny sanctuary and ate like 3 of them, which answered the question of their existence when i saw the remains.
When i was younger and went to things such as the county fair, i would always spend hella much time observing the show rabbits. Imagine sitting on your ass eating grains all day, your entire existence based on what some 4H mom thinks of your pelt and girth. What a weird existence.

Somewhat true. You don't actually starve, but you will suffer from malnutrition which can actually happen with the exclusive consumption of many lean meats!

My ex's mom was obsessed with their rabbit. They used to take him out for walks. She never seemed to notice that the rabbit didn't actually "walk" so much as wander aimlessly within range of the leash.
