    I'm not sure.
They are not in a ship on the map, I'm not sure how they participate beyond sending me messages.

How many are we thinking? 4, 5, 6?

    We don't know:
    The exact mafia win con
    Their abilities
The extent of their ability to communicate

As much as I'd like to assume there are 6 of them, we don't really have enough info on the setup to assume much.

Yeah. Keep in mind Obi likes different/alternative win cons, especially for his mafia.

That being said, I'd be shocked if there isn't 6. He needs an even number for both thread to have equal mafia and 4 seems a little low.

Given the setting I will be shocked as hell if they have a standard wincon.
It mentions in the OP fluff that they want to steal tech, I'm trying to figure out how that might tie into the mechanics.

Escape with their fighters off of the opposite edge?

Sleepers want to take, yes, to steal, the star wombs!

Arba-Arba'Hei has no idea how they would do that...star wombs are very big, yes.

From the OP, food for thought:
In this game, the majority of players are members of the Sith Navy who have been chosen to test the new line of TIE fighters and the prototype Capital Ships codenamed "Star Destroyers". The rebellion has activated their most deep operatives for this mission and have given them full leeway to disrupt the wargame and use any means necessary to capture this powerful new technology

So it's possible they win by constructing a complete and accurate description of all the new tech on the battlefield?

They may also need to run off the board with something.

PILOTS - Please don't forget to put in orders to Obi in PM. I don't think the admiral can still control what we do at the moment.

And we want to do things.

Yes, yes! Arba'Arba-Hei has already told great Obi in the Sky how the blontharks will cleverly engage foolish enemy, according to crazy magic plan from flower person! Friends should join blontharks in glorious battle!

Ok, likely going to follow the plan, strafe one of the murderb, and get into position to pincer.

Can we start calling exactly out our planned movements and actions?
I want to put them out there for everyone to see to help prevent shady shit.

  • MatevMatev Cero Miedo Registered User regular
Sorry, had to look at the map to decide. Strafing I16 and moving to n19.

Blonthark spread awesome firepower over F15, then turn and two hexes NW to C19, then turn SW. Earlier, Arba-Arba'Hei miscounted and say C18. Not C18; C19.

Do we want the non-bombers from Lucky to go north and try to help or head towards the SD?

No expect at lest one of their ships angled toward the middle to be a bomber launching a missile. Push straight along the bottom towards the SD. Once we get their ships moving we will have a better idea about which ones are the bombers

Re: The SD, how far forward do we want to go?
    Any vertical movement?

  • SaberOverEasySaberOverEasy Info Broker Registered User regular
I think moving it 1 north would be handy. That let's us get a little closer if we have to redeploy.

  • SaberOverEasySaberOverEasy Info Broker Registered User regular
In any event, I'm heading to Q15 and turning around in case we get any bogies on our tail.

  • Gandalf_the_CrazedGandalf_the_Crazed Vigilo ConfidoRegistered User regular
SD should go 1 north, yes. That's where most of the fighting will be.

And I still vote for making a 5-hex rush to the center, but you know the SD's capabilities better than I do, Admiral.

In case there was any confusion:

ALL Squadrons (PLAYERS) ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN ORDERS FROM HERE ON OUT.

  • premiumpremium Registered User regular
My worry is that rushing it to the center before we have a plan to deal with the bombers could screw us.

  • Gandalf_the_CrazedGandalf_the_Crazed Vigilo ConfidoRegistered User regular
Well we can shoot down the torpedoes, I think.

And I'm pretty sure we can blow the shit out of their entire formation next turn.

But maybe 4 hexes to the center, 1 to the south?

Also, to all the Fighters on the front of Group Fucked, if any of you forget to send in shots today, there will be words.

Ok. Flying west to avoid possible bombing.

Is anyone keeping a spreadsheet of claimed orders?
I haven't had a chance to throw one together yet, kid's sick and needy today.

  • Gandalf_the_CrazedGandalf_the_Crazed Vigilo ConfidoRegistered User regular
I can go back through later and put one together, I guess.

I feel like it'll be pretty obvious if things aren't generally like we planned.

Northwest. Pretty sure we have to be facing other hexes. Otherwise, that'd make movement awkward.
