Generally speaking you don't want to solo ubers anyway regardless of class. It's always better to share your machines with teammates so that you can benefit from theirs as well.

If you're going for lower mps you might want to try acid rain instead of chargers. The carvers can go for cheap if you keep an eye on the auctions timing out, I nabbed a 972 one for 189k because no one else bid on it.

Here's my Witch Doctor I like how he turned out, gear about 20M or so.

I think I logged out with stacks of some sort is why the int is higher than it should be but his int does jump up to 4.4k with full stacks of both stacky thingies

They also nerfed the crap out of demonic essence droprates, buffed the pre-Marquise rubies in weapons, scaled crafting plan droprates to monster power, and capped reflect damage reflection to 10% of the monster's current health pool.

my WD is kind of a mish-mash right now, but i can roll act 3 inferno without much trouble. i die sometimes, but it's usually my own fault. still experimenting a little. trying to decide between using horrify with either speed or armor, or mass confusion with 20% extra damage.

WOw, I'm actually excited about the legendary vanishing dye thing. In my humble opinion, a Witch Doctor absolutely HAS to be naked except for the mask, all that other stuff makes him not-Witch Doctor for me, now that I can make him naked should I ever see a legendary drop that I will use on him, I'm happy to know that I can keep him nakeyfied.

Damage reflected back from the Reflects Damage affix should now be capped at 10% of the monster’s current health pool (overkill damage is not considered in the reflect)

Nice. That should help a bit when bears-ing some elites.

January 30, 2013: Vanishing Dye and All-Soap's Miraculous Dye Remover can now be used on Legendary items

    October 16, 2008:
Q: Will there be any roleplaying aspects to Diablo 3, like changing faces or skin colour?
A: In a previous build you could change face and skin colour, but the problem was that when you entered the game, you couldn’t really tell the difference. You spent perhaps 10 minutes picking your character, and you wouldn’t see anything of him. Another problem was armour would quickly hide it, and it also slowed down the game to go through that process, so we decided to remove it. It goes in line with the philosophy of making a fast game as well. you come in to the game, pick your class and go!

    Amusing, to me.

Pleased with the legendary dye change. Seemed like it should be a very simple thing to do. Like the idea of my barb with no helm.Still probably doesn't solve the gay cowboy look of depth diggers though. Gay cowboy chaps or gay no pants at all?

And where is the ID all button??

    Surely this is now due?

Back from holiday tomorrow so looking forward to firing up some Diablo!

I am amused that the new ruby paradigm isn't going to the entire line of rubies, only the player crafted ones.

Yeah, there will be an awkwardly huge jump in power from Perfect Squares to Radiant Squares now. Strangely, Perfect Square Rubies are left with the old scaling as well.

Also, higher level rubies in low level socketed weapons are going to be ridiculous for twinking now. Any weapon without a socket is basically going to be junk for leveling anymore, at least until you get to RLR country.

    Edit:

Or looks like they're changing it for all rubies after all?
We’ve been listening to your feedback, and we agree it’s weird for different rubies to function differently, especially if it’s hard to tell the difference. Based on this, we’ve decided that going forward, all rubies will use the new calculation, and we’ll be buffing all rubies to account for the difference in calculation. We’re still in the process of evaluating what we want the final numbers to be for patch 1.0.7 once it goes live, but our design philosophy remains that some but not all builds should prefer using rubies in the weapon slot.

The whole point of a PTR is to test things out, and we appreciate all the feedback so many of you have taken the time to write up. At the start of the PTR, Marquise Rubies were definitely looking stronger than we wanted initially, and as a result of the new calculation, we’ll likely have to further refine them so that we can get them to where we’d like Marquise Rubies to be.

It's usually better to pool the resources of your little sales to buy a big item on the RMAH, resell it, and transfer that amount to paypal.

Pool all those $.25 profits together to buy something for $10 that ought to sell for $20, and resell it.

Oh okay, thanks for the tip.

    Just because I was curious.

    $1.25
    $.25 (- $1 bliz fee)
    $.21 (- 15% xfer fee)

If you Paypal $10 worth of .$25 transactions (40 transactions):
    $8.40 to your Paypal account
    $1.60 in fees.

If, instead, you send the 40 $.25 transactions to blizzbucks, buy a $10 item, and flip it for $15:

    $15
    $14 (-$1 bliz fee)
$11.90 (-15% xfer fee) to Paypal

If you flip it for $12
    $12
    $11 (-$1 bliz fee)
$9.35 (-15% xfer fee) to Paypal

Lurked this thread for a while, always enjoyed a good item post and they actually got me to start playing again about a month ago. Since I've started playing again, I've had pretty decent luck seeing legendaries and set pieces drop, somewhere around 25-35 total drops. Somehow in that fairly small sample size, I've gotten to roll 6 Echoing Furys. My first 5 were middling at best, one with a decent crit damage roll, another 2 with loh, all in the 900-1050 damage range, nothing to write home about. Number 6 though, oh beautiful number 6. Number 6 is my 80 year old oil heiress with a bad pacemaker and a number with way more zero's than me in the bank. I'm going to miss her slightly, and always remember her fondly, but yeah, maybe I did give her a blanket with a bunch of magnets stitched into it the second I found out I was set on the will.

The 0sec zd set I'm going to buy is the 25year old supermodel I start dating immediately after the reading of the will of this post, I guess.
