I understand that. To describe my feelings better, there's nothing special about his art. If a writer was looking for an artist to capture the tone and feeling of his/her story igle wouldn't be a good choice because his art doesn't have any real feeling other than 'generic superhero'. I would honestly pick booth over him because booth has at least booth has a kinetic, cartoony style. While igle has an art style I can get from several other artists, and often better.
Sorry if I'm being a dick but I just don't he's good enough for any company to care.
you guys are being weirdly critical of some pretty nice art
Seriously, Igle's pretty good. He does nice, clean superhero art. It's not really flashy and stylized, but it achieves its intended goal.
Plus, he wins points for deciding to put shorts under Supergirl's skirt, earning him the official title of First Artist to Draw Supergirl That Wasn't A Bit of a Creep.
I love the last panel of Wonder Woman. I can't find a scan but its great.

Did anyone notice that Superman/Batman is going to be 4 bucks for 20 pages? And Superman Unchained is going to be 5 bucks for 20 pages, but comes with some kind of foldout poster (that also counts as some pages I think)?

They could be wrong info, it happens all the time, and the JL and JLA and Batman's all have 40 page counts, but then again I can see DC trying to get as much as they can from a Snyder/Lee debut issue. And the way that poster sounds, it seems to be the equivalent of 4 pages just by the size, so you'd be really getting on 16 pages and then one really big splash of Superman doing something poster-worthy (I would think).
Complicated revenge scheme by Mxyzptlk wherein he has invaded our dimension and...
No, wait. Actually I think Mxyzptlk would probably run DC better than it's being run at the moment. Except the part where Superman's comic gets replaced with a walrus or whatever.
There'd probably be more fun comics at the very least.
DC might be a shit show but they have been pretty dang smart about original digital content.
They've got 10 or so different series, ranging from all star anthologies to seasons of cancelled tv shows.
Marvel has had a few neat things and is startung to ramp up but dang DC why can't you be this smart wuth the rest of your company?
Well, the guy who heads up the digital end of things, used to be an editor for Vertigo. So, that's probably why the digital end of things has a wider breadth of talent and ideas.
I'd actually heard a while back that the digital comics fell under the umbrella of DC Entertainment, rather than DC Comics proper, but I can't find anything to actually verify that.

I think you might be right. I'm fairly certain their digital stuff is handled by an entirely different office than the print comics. I want to say it's out of California.
Wherever they are, the digital people sure know what they're doing.
Yeah hats off to the digital team. It's got some diverse stuff. I really dig Lil' Gotham and at 99 cents I've taken a few risks just to see what a comic is like!

It is! Burbank. I applied for a job listing knowing full well I had sub-mediocre qualifications but whatever it took 15 minutes.
The goodnews is that the pricing is still much, much friendlier than Marvel's collected edition pricing. The bad news is that they're doing a bunch of weird shit with crossovers. Like, Superman Volume 3 has issues 0, 13-20, but there's also a H'El on Earth collection with 13-17. And Batman and Robin vol. 3 has Batman 17 in it, but not like... Batman Inc 8 or anything.
And the Vol. 3s for the Green Lantern books have 0, 13-20. But there's also a hardcover with 13-16 from each series for Rise of the Third Army (no 0 issues included), and probably another coming for Wrath of the First Lantern.

Man, I have to wait forever to own all of Morrison's Batman/Superman.
Anyone know what that "Doctor Mid-Nite: New Edition" collection is? I was just thinking about "medical superheroes" this morning.
Edit: This is just a guess, since I haven't read Inc #8 yet, but I'm guessing that as part of Morrison's Damian Wayne Saga, it doesn't lend itself to being included in another book's collection.

I got confused because SCS said it was misshapen and then misshapen was pushing it and I thought it was two people!
Just an interesting thing to keep an eye on.

Daniel's on Action comics only for 3 issues.
Seriously have no idea what's happening with DC.
But don't lie to my screen brah and say this was always planned to be a three parter.

Find fault with Superman/Batman though! This time baby I'll beeeee bulletttproooof.

Buuuuut that doesn't mean much sincethey were announced so recently and that means nothing about whether ornot DC told Fialkov to do it
which, again, says nothing about plans for Stewart to die under Fialkov, just that he won't die now.
action comics sure was confusing

Ignoring his... I'm going to say unpopular personal views his work in comics has been fucking awful

They did employ him. They're just not publishing it and the artist hired backed away from drawing it.
