So the Community thread is locked down, so we need a thread for the thursday night comedies! Especially since 30 Rock is airing its penultimate episode tonight

Although the good news is that this goodbye season has been spectacular and hilarious as heck!
liz lemon is the hero we deserve
Also Parks and recreation remains the sweetest, bestest show on tv. Basically tune in if you want a shot of sugar straight to your heart
And I guess The Office is limping along to its end. hohum
But Community is coming back soon! Huzzah!
There's basically a butt-ton of other good comedies airing right now! Suburgatory, Raising Hope, New Girl, Happy Endings, Cougar Town, Archer
In sadder news, it looks like Ben and Kate and Don't Trust the B are pulled from the schedule and are for all intents and purposes cancelled

well, while it is unknown, they have certainly been giving all the characters resolution to most of their problems in anticipation of being cancelled, it seems.
Nielsen can go get fucked
- God, I love Suburgatory so much. Alan Tudyk and Chris Parnell are my favorite comedic actors
- The Middle is a very solid, underrated show that has a fantastic cast
- I don't think Parks and Rec is ending. I say it has another season left to wrap things up
- As for The Office, I think this has been the strongest season since Michael has left (except for douchey Andy. I hate how they made him unlikeable so quickly)
- It sucks that Ben and Kate was cancelled. It was a bit uneven at times but BJ was the best character and constantly hilarious
- I'll miss Apt. 23 more though. Definitely got more solid as time went on. I hope they air the rest of the episodes
P&R is doing fantastic by comparison to the rest of NBC.
TVByTheNumbers has them at "certain renewal".
the Nielsen system is hopelessly outdates and pretty much everyone knows at this point that it's almost certainly not very representative of reality
but the entire network model is built around it, so they still use. (It's less true for cable and even less less true for pay cable)
He has to collect all the good NBC comedies.
I'm really sad about Apt. 23, jackass Beek was the best.
Honestly I love The Middle for the daughter. It's a safe family comedy, but she plays dorky so well and she has the best facial expressions.
Surburgatory is also good. I didn't care for it when it first came on, but now that it's exploring the characters I love it.

I think that Bro Body Douche guy is the same one from the Macy's commercials, who oddly looks like a combination of Ryan Reynolds and Martin Short. It's so weird but I can't not look at him

but then they showed the documentary guys who are clearly filming their entire lives, so these guys probably got the recital on tape? But the cast of the Office seems to forget they are being filmed all the time?
Makes me kind of sad they turned him into a creeper though. He was such a sad sack and now they pulled him in another direction. I guess there's no happy medium with him
