I recently started playing marvel again after maybe a year off. I think I should just stay away from online matches until I get a solid game down. My best character is Shuma but I am a complete scrub with Dorm and Strange. Also MODOK is hard as hell to play as when you don't have solid input motions.
hm. practicing setupus and i'm noticing something strange. every time i os something behind a safejump, it isn't a safejump anymore. if i just do a plain safejump from any of my setups, it works right and i block the reversals the setup is supposed to block, but if I os something, it tests properly on block, hit, and whiff, but i don't recover in time to block the reversal
am i just doing the safejump attack a touch early in order to cram in the os command, or is there something at work here that i'm not aware of
(this also totally explains why i've been eating reversals that i swore i had safejumped lately. almost every time, i'd been osing something to catch backdashes)
i wonder if i can prebuffer the motion even before the jumping attack...jump, qcf, hk~mk to do safejump hk, OS mk ruffian. since qcf+hk isn't anything in the air, it should keep the input and apply it to the mk, i would think.

There shouldn't be any change in your recovery for any other reason.
