90s Storm is the best. I bought it because it's fantastic. Way better than any of the other Storm costumes.

Neither, I'm talkin' bout the amazing yellow one with the short haircut. I also thought about getting Leather Fang Wolverine and the urban commando punisher or whatever it's called. For some reason all of the costumes I like most are the cheapest ones. Works out great for me, but it does make me wonder about my taste.

Like, can they only hold gear for that character and costumes?
They can also hold items that are bound to that character, ie artifacts or medals.

I think there is a bug out there right now with any attack that has a slow. It looks like the slow is stacking to the point that bosses will move in slow motion. We were slaughtering bosses with both black widow and wolverine last night. The funny thing is BW's basic that adds slow doesn't even slow attack speed. But it still kept completely borking bosses.

Had the same experience with my Rocket Raccoon whenever I brought out Time Dilator against a boss.
Its just broken slow in general. last night I was doing a Doc Oc with freeze affix and playing as Cap. Whenever I'd start getting iced up and use anything that wasn't a basic attack I'd move in super slow motion. At one point I was able to type in several messages into the group chat before he finally hit me and knocked me out of the shield toss animation. (This was literally about 30~40ish seconds of my guy just slooooowly lifting his arm then sloooooowly moving it into an arc.)

So had fun running Punisher up to around, oh lets say Lower East side. You shoot things, then you get a rocket launcher, then a fun little shotgun basic (which can't be slotted on the bar, jerks!) Now I just got to Bullseye and woa did that suck. Shots did little damage when he didn't dodge them and he happily cut out my liver. Couldn't get a group going so I just switched to Thing and beat the jerk down but damn. I am not looking forward to Kingpin.

I had better luck with punisher dumping most of my points into that skill where she dual wields two assault rifles (I forget the name off the top of my head) and armor piercing shot for the extra synergy damage. At level 32, it does around 1000 damage per second, the downside being that it roots you in place while you're firing. Against bosses like bullseye I usually fired off sub-charged armor piercing shots in a fire then move pattern to keep from being hit. To take bullseye out, all you really need to do is just kite him around one of the rooftop vents, using the vents to block his line of sight so he can't use his instant kill special attack.

Suppose I'll finally have to use a retcon on him.
This is because currently, abilities that do damage over time are not affected by the group damage reduction. (When other players are nearby, your damage is lowered slightly to compensate. In a full party, you may be doing only about 60% of your normal damage)
DoTs and other abilities whose damage is listed as "per second", RR's BFG, IM's Channeled Repulsors, Colossus' Spinning Fist, etc, are exempt from this until they rebalance them and make them work under the damage reduction system. Doomsaw stated they don't just want to apply the damage reduction to dots without rebalancing things to compensate, at least, so we'll see how they fare once they're fixed.
The training room actually shows damage numbers, so they did a test in there. The actually used Punisher to show that a channeled ability isn't affected, too.

Apparently the game is down for everyone outside the US (Canada too maybe?). Hard to say how long it'll last, weekend and all.
edit: People on the official forums recommend using a VPN during the opening splash screen as a workaround. I won't be doing this, but it sounds like it works. Someone smarter than I should be able to say where this falls on the Good Idea/Bad Idea spectrum.
How exactly should they implement the first kill of the day timers... should it just be an additional tab on the character sheet that has mob name and then a timer counting down
I still think the entire first kill of the day thing is bunk, you can gimp around it (i think) by just switching your hero right before a boss and then switching back returning them with 87 rested xp or whatever.
That said im really looking forward to a better red terminal (loot and xp), today I ran AIM-Doom in the HC and the drops were just dreadful (1 artifact aside) and the doom medal was 23 power duration...
There are so many UI "things" that should be improved it's crazy. Like more hotbars or at the very least more hotkeys available for use. There really isn't any reason we don't have a hotbar available just for toggles. It doesn't matter that Thing has three auras, I'm never going to slot more than one of them.

Ah, the Storm costume from the new book. Nice. Not old school enough for me to buy. But I approve of its attention to proper mohawk detail.
Man o' man, I've gotten a few drops as I've played the game. A costume, couple of new guys, a couple of dupes. But damn, I've got a buddy who's put 80+ hours in and still hasn't seen a character or costume. The RNG can just be horrible to some folks.

That said I'm working on making my iron man my 'boss killer' character so trying to load him with item rarity (and level him up a bit, level 29 micro missiles... pew pew pew), but i have run into a small error that drives me nuts about gaz.
I have a +7 rarity hat (not great but is plus basic attack and plus micro missiles), so ya know its a starting point. Anyways I also have a 24 rarity core on my costume. Displayed rarity find... 30.
Well damn... I wonder, negative -1 innate rarity find for iron man? maybe another piece has -1 rarity on it. Remove hat and tah-duh, 24 rarity find. remove costume.. 0 rarity find. Ok so the hat is just displaying the wrong number which is dismaying.... BUT I put the hat back on and get 7 rarity find..... well that is strange, put costume back on,.... 30. Well fuck. Addition and subtraction arent that hard, and alledgely you are just pulling an associated character value for the display, so what the hell is going on here gaz. (Unless cap rarity find for items is 30, then gaz and I have different problem).
