Speaking of people interested only in site hits, Latino Review has been posting their supposed scoop on the Dr. Strange script a piece at a time. So far it sounds awful, and considering last time they did this was when they claimed Avengers 3 was going to be World War Hulk (before Whedon and Marvel stomped that rumor into the dust), I'm inclined to write them off as full of shit.
I need them to make this mistake in reverse now on some news site. Where they talk about Billy Batson, and then talk about he transforms, into a picture of Carol Danvers
Eh, as far as we know, Avengers 2 would just have the original cast (six members) plus Falcon. And maybe the GotG will show up, but they won't be official Avengers.

Actually Quicksilver and Scarlet WItch are confirmed in the script for Avengers 2.
You know, the scene of Avengers when Loki arrives at the Dark Energy lab would've been a great place to introduce Carol since it was a joint SHIELD/NASA project.
"Dr. Lawson" could've been one of Dr. Selvig's associates.
They can introduce Carol Danvers and/or Dr. Lawson in the SHIELD tv show.

Well, are they gonna do a Captain Marvel movie soon? Because if not, they've locked themselves in with that actress, and she might get other offers between now and whenever they do decide to go ahead with a movie.

As much as I love Dr. Strange, I kinda wonder what the plot for his movie might be. The logical starting villain is Baron Mordo, but he's another kinda boring "the hero but evil" villains. And while Dr. Strange's origin story is a good one, it's also very similar to Tony Stark's, and Strange in general is a lot more interesting as a fully fledged wizard then he is as a novice.
I suppose Clea would be the love interest.
I want Oliva Wilde to play Clea in that movie. Dr. Strange could be played by George Clooney.
