Pic of the day. A red-black effect now appears when you're hit by a strong blow. It'll only appear when you have high damage, so when you see this you're in trouble--and you're probably about to get KO'd!

So basically you'll probably die but you're a badass if you come back from it.

Pic of the day. Turnips are used in the Villager's up-air and down-air attacks. Perhaps because the turnip prices fluctuate depending on the day's market, the number of turnips that appear changes every time. How cute.

Looks like Find Mii is either a stage or part of some kind of adventure mode.

It occurs to me that this is the perfect place to implement Miis! Your own Mii could appear in that cage, and Miis from your creation app and Mii Plaza could pop in as stage hazards by doing magic.

I never played it, although I always wanted to. When the Mega Man Collection was coming out, I was hoping Soccer would be a part of the package.

I mean mechanically it was competent enough, but the every match is just 'get the ball, run up to the goal, power shot'.

Did we play different versions? I remember only being allowed 2 or 3 powershots a game, but it wasn't just about the powershot, because some of them were more designed to disable the goalie while others were designed to shoot past. So you wanted to make sure you had the right character shooting.

Also, I rented this game a ton of times and loved it. When I was young I used to think the powershot was the only way to score, but as I got older I started to find actually strategies.

I owned Mega Man Soccer and played it tons. That game was great.

And it wasn't about power shots. It was about getting your fastest dude (iceman or elecman i think?) and running down the wings and centering the ball. Also, bubbleman surprisingly good at blocking power shots. I think Protoman was also a good goalie for that reason.

I remember Mega Man Soccer but it was always checked out at my Blockbuster back then. I'd just stand there and oogle the game box until my parents told me to hurry up and pick a game already.

since I know that won't happen maybe just a alt color with the spikey horn hats from the first game.
