So recently I had to return my old psp via best buy 2 year warranty due to a faulty headphone jack. The new system's great, but now i've got another problem on my hands:
You see, I can't exactly activate the WMA Playback and Flash settings via the internet on account of connectivity issues. When I first got the system and updated to these settings via the net, I had a great wireless connection available at my old house. However, the days rolled by, we got a new house, and now the wireless connection is there but piss-poor; the PSP never recognizes the wireless signal, thus preventing me from listening to the rather large amount of WMA music files I have stored on the memory card.
I honestly have no idea what to do here; everytime I try to access the internet manually via USB cable, I get the same message that I would as if I was trying to connect wirelessly.
Long story short, how can I get my PSP to access the internet via cable so that I can enable WMA and Flash settings and listen to the songs I already bought and paid for?
You pretty much can't. I'd try to find a free wireless access point - there are several sites with databases showing where you can find them in most cities.
