I am really curious if Ryback hurt himself delivering the Shell Shock to Henry post match. And I'm also really surprised Punk didn't seem to seriously hurt his leg on the devil table.
Some one had better find gifs of Punk faces from that match.
I still dislike Fandango. His first match, he gets basically a free ride to Wrestlemania, get's his ass kicked a lot of the match with a few cool moves, then wins with a diva-esque roll up finish.
Cena trolling the Rock with the fake People's Elbow. In that moment, I think I loved Cena.
I'd say over all it was a pretty good PPV, as usual the Taker match was worth the PPV. It just felt weird for a Wrestlemania. As said before, no segments, no backstage, no celebrities outside of Puff Daddy's concert sampler. I'm not sure if I like that they made it almost all about the matches, or not. All the added pyro was really cool. Though, I left after Cena left the ring post match. Was there no WWE Champ end of PPV pyro? When was the last time that happened?
Johnny Gargano is turning heel in DGUSA. Also Ricochet got the pinfall in the six man tag that gets him a title shot in the future.
At the end of Mercury Rising Gargano said he's made the DGUSA title as prestigious as the DG title and CIMA said he'd bring the DG title for a title vs. title match. John Davis came out, but Gargano stopped him and then kicked CIMA in the dong and said he did it for the fans and that he loved us.
I'm interested in the rumors of Punk and Brock tagging together.
Perhaps they pick up a few more dudes for a "Paul Heyman Guys" stable?
Who all in the company is a Paul Heyman guy that can still Wrestle? Rey is too broken to. Jericho is probably leaving post Mania. Is there anyone established they could use really? Or would everyone else need to be NXT/new people?

So the tag title match was pretty fun, but damn would the WWE benefit from using a tag style that's closer to what PWG does. Having the rules be a bit more relaxed in regards to legal men and having multiple men in the ring would make the matches a ton more exciting.
Unfortunately I can only agree with NIrya's post once and the relaxed tag rules in PWG and pretty much every other promotion make tag matches fucking awesome. Fuck your legal man rules as long as the action is awesome as shit.

They got into it at the end. That match had a lot of good stuff going for it. There are some kind of slow moments, but I liked that match, I think coming after Punk/Taker hurt it, which is why Tons of Funk vs. Rhodes Scholars should have happened there.
Wreslemania wasn't terrible, it was very disjointed though.
I think they're really screwed by not turning Cena heel; they don't have any good heels to feud him with right now. Punk is probably taking a break to get his knee fixed, Orton didn't turn/still worried about him fucking up and the Shield isn't quite ready to go singles yet. I guess they could keep going face v face with a terrible Ryback feud.
Overall verdict on Brock/HHH; Went too long but had some great moments. Wish Brock didn't loose but at least he didn't tap out to Hunter's Kimura lock. I'd give it a 70, maybe 65 out of 100.
Overall Mania score? B minus.

I knew I couldn't win so I choose some of the odd choices as a gamble that it would happen and no one else would go with them. Did decent for Mania but like my whole season this year. Mediocre just doesn't cut it. Oh well
Also @evilbadman thanks again for running this. Makes wrestling more fun for me at least. :^:
The think that drives me most crazy about the Tons of Funk vs. Rhodes Scholars & Bellas match is that they finally made an undercard match matter, and I was excited for it, and of course it didn't happen, and even though the match didn't really matter it bummed me out it was gone.
Just because there's more time doesn't mean it's going to be better. The build for HHH/Brock was red hot after the first week, and then cooled down, because it had too much time.

IIRC, one of the best parts of the Shield's other matches were that they'd tag in and then immediately tag out to get all three of the men in the ring at once.
No one actually expected Brock to do a SSP, did they? He was only ever able to do them with the loose springy turnbuckles that they had in OVW, and the one time he tried it in a WWE ring he nearly killed himself. He can't get the height. Plus, he hasn't done it in years, and he was the heel in the match.
I, for one, would be rather surprised by the number of posts here expressing a desire for Brock to kill himself, were it not for the fact that I'm not surprised at all, really.
Wait, they skipped March for a PPV? I mean, sometimes they do Mania in April, yeah, usually near the beginning enough to count for March and then do another later in April. They're actually skipping this year, though?

also when mania is in april they skip march for a PPV
MY picks were so terrible, I picked two results that I knew were never gonna happen, Punk and Lesnar, but even still I had some wicked awesomely bad calls.
Also didn't someone report that there'd be at least one face/heel turn on this show and nothing of the sort happened? Maybe they're saving them till Raw.

Or even book a Tornado match occasionally.
I was kinda bummed that Punk didn't try a Tombstone of his own, but I can live with how it turned out.

And bring back Big Daddy V and Val Venis while they're at it.
They clapped because it was over.

Yeah I can see how some said this dragged. Still it's far from a bad match or anything.

Wrestling chants are so much fun.

Eh, I'd rather there be a long build than a short one. During the Fall of this year they'll be 3 PPVs back to back with only 3 week builds.

Some of the WM matches were built for a fuckin' year. Also, Mania's a spotlight show so things are more rigid.

He wouldn't need to be a heel to face Taker. They've done plenty with face/face Mania main events.
He'd be booed out of the building, but I can still see it happening.

I'm sure you realize this already, but if you pick that he won't cash in every time, you'll only be wrong once.

"End of Another Era... That Was Pretty Much the Same Era."
So that means it has one more year until it's officially fresh and new again, right?
I could probably get behind this if his next color scheme made him look like Ash from Pokemon.
A match where two guys don't sell anything the other does and they eventually just start slapping at each other would be different.
He can do both, because he never gives up, and his time is now! ...and again in two hours and 55 minutes.
Wait, they skipped March for a PPV? I mean, sometimes they do Mania in April, yeah, usually near the beginning enough to count for March and then do another later in April. They're actually skipping this year, though?
...oh, that explains it, I guess.

Currently Ebaying Nothing at all but I might do in the future.
technically show went heel again
Why does it have to be against Cena?
