People on page 1 who thought that was my shop, it isn't. I didn't mean to imply that. Kyou posted it at Platformers (it's in his Photobucket). I just thought it was awesome.

You can actually turn the sheet over and reveal the original packaging art.

The main thing that worries me is that the shrink-wrapping looks like the kind that stores do with returned merchandise on-site, rather than a factory seal:
Does anyone know if Amazon does this? Sending out returned merchandise as new? I just received a copy of the xbox version of San Andreas and for some reason all of the save spots are full. I had to delete them in order to start a proper new game.

As far as I could tell the shrink wrap looked factory sealed, though.

As in, you have a used Xbox, or you think that your DVD game came with saves on it?

    Wait, what? No sarcasm.

If you're wondering whether I'm a person who actually needs this explain to him, then you are probably correct.

I'm trying to figure out why there would be save spots already filled before I even started the game, I guess I've never encountered that in my 17 years of playing video games.

    *blink*

How is this possible with a memory card /HDD based game?!

Oh right, it saves to the xbox itself. I suppose the only answer is that the dude I lent my xbox to must have played the game on it at some time, right?

Oh, and if you go to pick this up don't forget to grab the BB $5 off coupon from CAG.

    Castlevania: DoS for $5.

Of course I'm an idiot and found this out AFTER I bought the damn thing.

Still, I guess $10 is a good deal as well.

Okay, so it's totally legit then? I was more worried that I had somehow gotten a pirate copy than anything else; I don't want my game saves to disappear randomly due to a shitty battery.
DS games don't have batteries. At least, I'm pretty sure they don't. I'm pretty sure they're essentially gussied-up memory cards.

Also, the fact that this packaging is legit strikes terror into my heart. Thankfully I got my copy of Dawn of Sorrow the first time around.

I don't think they ever did GBA greatest hits, so I don't think it's a given that they'll ever do DS greatest hits.

The system's been out for over two years now and we still haven't seen any, so I'm not holding my breath.

They rolled out Player's Choice for the GBA last year. It's mostly (if not all) Nintendo games: SMB2 and 3, SMW, Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green, Zelda LTTP, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, etc.

I don't mind greatest hits/player's choice cover art, but this konami Castlevania thing is puke inducing.
