Could there possibly be a bug stopping me from re-naming the thread, is there a limit to the number of times you can re-name a thread cause none of the usual methods are working for me and that clicking on the blue box isn't doing anything either?
I just found a thread I started to test it, using Firefox 3.
Basically, you just want to doubleclick here:
It should then look like this:
And then you just start typing.
When I do that the first 2 clicks highlights the ] and the third highlights everything on the line. But no way of changing the title.
I'm just going to take a random guess here, but do you have NoScript?

The game was perfect already. All they needed to do was add a shit load of new weapons, update the graphics, and have new levels.
Not that I'm saying EDF 2017 is bad. I haven't played it given my lack of 360. But I can't imagine they managed to improve on an already perfect game.

I play this every while when my friend comes over and we have a blast. It was funny, I had to restart my file (I was on Inferno but no...no...it had to be restarted because I lost my memory for some reason or another). and we decided to just do theh ardest difficulties on levels we could right off the bat and got the Grenade gun Alpha and oh my god did we have fun. 1000 damage per grenade and it shoots out like 20 of em. Its hilarious. They just bounce everywhere blowing shit up, killing your comrades, killing YOU a lot of the time. Its so fucking funny. We just die laughing while the game chugs and slows down to a crawl because of all the crazy shit happening on screen. But when it actually works, (the grenade gun) its a great way to fuck everything up.

I've heard the previous iterations were better than the one we got on the 360, but this one has the benefit of not being a total slideshow (still has performance problems, though). I would desperately love a more fully-fleshed-out sequel.
This thread will last until 2017, when the server is taken down by ants. Not giant, alien ants, mind you. Just ants. The hardest part about this thread is keeping a thread alive for two years and not hitting 2500 posts.

Freaking awesome but runs like an absolute pig on the PS2, especially when you start fighting the giant spiders. The night time stages are a nightmare to play as well.

Freaking awesome but runs like an absolute pig on the PS2, especially when you start fighting the giant spiders. The night time stages are a nightmare to play as well.

EDIT- so how do the characters balance out? A jetpack is a pretty obvious advantage. Is the jetpack chick just an upgrade?

They both have completely different sets of weapons too.

Yeah, the Palewing (Chick) has less health overall through the course of an average play-through, although I guess you could grind her health like crazy and it would eventually catch up. She also has energy that can be expended (Bar on the right) and has to recharge whilst you're left helpless, since everything she does uses the energy bar.
So it's actually quite hard to keep it all under check, but it's awesome as hell.
And the player in the video was using that auto-aim shit. Manual aim for the win.

Have you tried a different browser, just as a test? I had no idea about this function, but it works fine for me in Opera and Firefox...
