Y: Yes, the Ys games look like the direction to go.
Q: I am in a quandary. Quantum Conundrum and Quake are all I can come up with and neither looks particularly interesting, so I'd end up getting a game just to fill a slot.
I: Ironically, I had two copies each of Iron Brigade and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet... and gave them all away, hehe.

Those are both good I's. Also, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

@Incindium sent Spec Ops my way in return! I've somehow managed to avoid all spoilers so I'm really looking forward to playing it as soon as I finish Risen

I loved Risen. Man did I love Risen. It reminded me a single play Ultima Online, in the best way possible.
Welp, that settles that. @PierceNeck just bombarded my gift inbox and completed my Steam alphabet in one fell swoop. A classy critical hit was scored and I am stunlocked.
QUBE, I am Alive, and Ys I & II Chronicles added to library.

I've had Ys Chronicles on my PSP for over a year but just couldn't get myself to play it much. After getting it on Steam, I have already reached Adol's max level in Ys I (level 10!) and will probably finish the game tonight. I've actually already played through the Turbografx-CD version of Ys 1 once before.
Basically what I've learned is that it's a lot harder for me to get through handheld games these days. This might be why the 3DS and Vita hold almost no interest for me.
Chances are I will have to play my PSP copy of Ys VII, though, because there is no PC version aside from some Chinese version which may or may not exist.
If you bought the Groupees bundle, Air Buccaneers steam keys are now available.
They also added The Cat Lady to the 2nd tier. Desura game. Looks really strange. I played the dev's previous game, an adventure game called Downfall that was pretty interesting/ full of weirdness too so this was on my radar and was a pleasant addition to the bundle.
Oh yeah I forgot about Steam alphabet... Still need E, I(if you don't count Indie Game: The Movie) and Y. Euro Trucking Sim that is on my wishlist will eventually fill E. Not sure about I though. Y could be one of the Ys games I guess.
I have Eschalon Book 2 and iBomber Defense spare if you want them
Wohoo! I love me some Tower Defense, and didn't know about iBomber Defense. I now own it and look forward to giving it a try.
I would have picked up To The Moon as well, but that one doesn't work on Macs
I knew reading this thread would lead to good things! :^:

I could totally see that as a team-based PvP multiplayer game. DMV vs. the Public... Will the Green Team renew their registrations/licenses before the timer runs out and the Blue team heads for lunch? Can the Blue Team deploy enough Red Tape to hold the Green Team at bay?
Is this an acceptable place to talk about To The Moon? I want to talk about To The Moon.
Don't read this if you haven't played and finished the game and think you might ever be interested in doing so!
I had a bit of uncertainty about how Johnny's final "memory life" played out. The life in which he went to the moon. In real life, Johnny and River made that promise to meet on the moon if they ever got separated, but Johnny didn't remember this even though they ended up together. In the altered memory life, did Johnny and River still meet that night at the Carnival, and still make that same promise? I haven't decided entirely if this is factual or just one possible interpretation, but is that promise, followed by the forced removal of River from his life (by the Lady Doctor), what provides the motivation for both of them to end up at NASA? Is the Johnny in that "timeline" pushing himself so hard because he made the promise with River, or does he just have the implanted desire and he's not sure why? There was no indication that they knew each other or had ever met when they were reunited at NASA, but Lady Doctor didn't remove River until they were in high school so did she remove that carnival meeting too? Maybe its supposed to be ambiguous or maybe I'm missing something obvious. I'd love to hear some thoughts! I feel like I could ramble on about this game for quite a while.
I have finally joined the modern era and purchased a wireless 360 controller receiver for my PC. Truth be told, I've never felt a drive to until I bought Lego LotR (even the prompts for the port weren't changed). But I have to say, it's pretty neat using it with the games and with steam Big Picture mode! Now for more controller games!

Hey, is there a reason I can't invite someone to the PA G&T Adventure Team? They're a member of the Penny Arcade group.

Here goes my thoughts:
They implanted the desire to go to the moon. It didn't matter (to Johnny) why, he just wanted to.
Remember that they only removed River from their school meeting onwards. Which was their second actual meeting, but the first Johnny could remember. So in theory their first meeting was still intact, just that Johnny can't recall anything because of the beta-blockers.
The only reason both of them end up at NASA is that, if you recall, the new memories are made from current, real-Johnny's memories of the world. In his real memories River is such an important part that there was no way she could not be in the new memories in one way or another.
This is what Eva bet on, but Neil wasn't in on the plan.
So, he goes to the moon because the real Johnny wants to go (can't remember the promise he made originally) and makes the doctors implant a desire to go to the moon in virtual Johnny (there was no reason to this desire), and the only way for it to become "real" was if River was removed from his life.
But River was such a big part of his life that she couldn't just not show up.

"Remember that they only removed River from their school meeting onwards. Which was their second actual meeting, but the first Johnny could remember. So in theory their first meeting was still intact, just that Johnny can't recall anything because of the beta-blockers."
But in the new timeline, Johnny wouldn't have taken the beta blockers because his brother didn't die. So he should still remember his first meeting with River and that promise to go to the moon, right? As you said, if they only remove River once they reach high school, why wouldn't that memory of the first REAL meeting with River be in intact?
And seriously? JUST knots in our throats? Way more than that on this end, man.
iBomber Defense Pacific looks neat. So I bought it. And now I can't play it because it crashes on start-up. I got to submit my first support ticket. Best $1.24 I ever spent!
Could someone on me the gmg 20% off code please? I want to grab xcom on the cheap? I am in my phone and it is not playing nice with the forum right now for some reason and I can't find the code.
Thanks!

"accidentally" gives me the CK2 Ruler Designer code that was meant to go to @Vegan, luckily Vegan had it anyway and there were no ill effects from this.
But then he goes and gives me the correct code for Songs of Albion too!

Magical Diary is amazing and if you disagree you are basically a horrible person. I like grimdark fiction for grimdark individuals such as myself and even I had to get in touch with my inner 16 year old girl and play through the game in a single sitting.
Personally, I just did my first run of it. Ended up being a master of blue and black magic, a good friend to many, and failing totally at romance. Friendzoned the blue dude pretty hard, too.
(Attention: super-spoilers)
And then after beating the game I decided to try and see what happened if you actually took pity on his sob story after friendzoning him and sacrifice yourself for him. The conclusion had me laughing darkly. If this isn't an intentional shot at all the Twilight-alikes, the serendipity is amazing.
Take note, girls: sometimes, what everyone else says is right and they're not just being jealous and close-minded. Sometimes the dark and handsome misunderstood bishounen who everyone else says is bad news but who swears you're his first true love, IS in fact bad news and everyone else was perfectly right about him. Surprise!
Lol yeah...I fell for that (._.) Oh well, still alive and ready for misadventures during the Sophomore year. Now I'm wondering if there will be a sequel.

I also won Ruler Designer, but it turns out that I already have it, whoops. I was going to make a joke about the metric system and everything, too.
