darn... 200,000 happened without my noticing it. I've been in NYC for the last week so I haven't been spending much time online. According to the Extreme OC stats I've got 2.4 weeks to up my production or face DEMOTION by Xander51. Second best is still better than third best... I cannot allow this thing to happen. As soon as I return home I will be assimilating more cores into my collective.
I am coming for you BlueHiro! I am about to hit 200,000 myself.
Except, if you add more cores, yeah, you'll probably totally destroy me. I am at maximum core-age here, and my PC is about to be Bioshocked this week. Still! The epic battle continues!!!
EDIT: Gilrain, man, congrats on passing 400,000! That's insane!

Support for Remote Play for PSP - Now [email protected] can be remotely operated through PSP utilizing the Remote Play feature of the PS3 system. With this feature, PS3 users are able to view on their PSP the exact same [email protected] information that is viewable on their PS3, complete with the map of the world and the protein that their particular system is simulating.
More Support for Additional Protein Simulations – Additional computation cores are now supported allowing [email protected] for PS3 to support a wider range of protein-folding simulations which further enhances the science needed to be performed to research diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease.
Screensaver Mode – A screensaver mode can now be activated via the Settings menu in the [email protected] application, allowing PS3 users to consume slightly less power and to increase performance of protein-folding simulations.
Link to Project Description – A link has been added to the Information menu in the [email protected] application allowing users to quickly obtain additional information about the specific research project they are currently contributing to.
Protein Visualization Enhancements – All visualization modes have been enhanced with improved shading, highlighting and focus effects, including: “Tapioca” displays the protein as a smooth surface with improved shading and depth; “Caviar” displays the protein as a smooth surface with defined edges; “Licorice” displays only the protein’s bonds and “Backbone” which emphasizes specific sections of the protein that are of the most scientific interest to researchers.
Advanced Participation Mode – Advanced participation mode allows Stanford University to send simulations of varying computational lengths to PS3 users. Because the simulations in this mode can take significantly longer, Advanced Mode is only recommended for contributors who run [email protected] for at least eight hours per day.
I had shut down terminal.app awhile ago for reasons I don't now recall. I just rectified this issue, and I am back to folding again.
Are there any plans to put this on the 360 that anyone's heard of? I'm getting one soon but don't have any plans to get a PS3...

Well, I'm doing my part. When I first posted I was at 2 completed WUs, now I'm at 25. Having a stable connection where I can have mulitple machines running is nice.
Hmm... I'm pretty much leaving my PS3 on, folding just about 20/7... when does that advanced thing hit?
Sweet Threepio! Thanks for the list of new features. I too would love to know when that update is hitting. If it's out now, I must stop Bioshocking and go download it!

They've passed us before, then slumped until we passed them, now they've picked up again.
I'm down three cores. In the process of moving to a new apartment so it could be several weeks before I get internet there. My PS3 and Dualcore PC are all boxed up. I was so hoping I'd get into the top 5 before the move too. Was only 4 days away when i had to break everything down.
Whoa, I finally broke top 30. I have a feeling I'm not getting much higher on the list, though. It's nice to see that the team is in the top 300 now, though.
I had to remove about eight of my faster cores. That's going to hit our daily production pretty hard.
It's alright Gilrain, we're getting some new members on a fairly regular basis and we'll all do our best to keep up with your monstrous output! Thanks again to all who have joined!
Surely you're spending all your free time questing for new cores right?

Wow, I'm triple posting. My apologies, board and fellow folding community. But! It has been a most epic battle at the top of the scoreboard for the last two weeks, and it looks like bluehiro has cemented his place (at least for the moment) as our new Score Overlord. Will I ever be able to top him? Will Gilrain crush us all with his mighty cores like in days of yore? (He does still have a massive point lead). Stay tuned!
And I also hope that I'm not the next one to post in the thread.

It's cooled off here in Palm Desert, California, so my PS3 will be folding at night. Probably won't be 24/7 like I used to. Damn you Tiger Woods!! Even with your flaws I can't stop playing you.

...Tried that already. With a celebratory wallpaper to boot! I expect it'll pick up a bit here once Summer is over.
I did indeed appreciate the celebratory wallpaper. Maybe the new thread title should be [email protected] - Now with crazy awesome wallpaper!
EDIT: It looks like BlueHiro just broke 200,000 points. Congrats, BlueHiro!

Awaiting parts so I can continue my assault on the rankings at full speed....
Where??!? I'll kill that motherf...
Oh.
Awkward.
In other news, our trend line is slowly leveling out and, maybe, we can get some positive slope on that mother soon.

Heat or no heat, the PS3 is getting turned on.

Yes! That's the spirit! I too am going to have a hot day here but I'm running my PS3.
Who knows, maybe I'll lose some weight in the process?
