Every now and then I think "Why isn't X song in RB?" and then I search and it is and I'm like "why don't I own that yet?" Today it was "Shine" by Collective Soul.
Also, I'm glad that post about Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks was there. Going to hook up my 360 to buy that pack tonight, because those are worth having just to have, I think.
Someone suggested on Reddit about a week ago to add in a "Last Call" category for expiring songs. HMXJosh responded that they'd look into it, as it was a bit more than a technical thing...
.. they just added it to the store!
and yes, he knows he botched the test account name blur job.. :V

They had to jump through a lot of extra hoops for making Beatles DLC, I wouldn't be surprised if it was so much work they simply didn't want to do more than they'd already signed up for.

And at the least, missing out on the rest of both Revolver and Let It Be is just a sad, sad omission.
GDRB is hardly a total cross-section of Green Day, but with the three full albums and a good selection between Dookie and American Idiot, they hit most of the high notes anyway. The Beatles may have only had ~300 songs, but we literally barely scratched the surface.
On the whole, I'd say it was the biggest victim of their independent move. Followed closely by a loss of so-called mid-level bands and artists. It just felt so hollow when they'd state that BRB DLC sold really well, but there was zero move to follow it up. Even if they had merely stuck to the 'usable' masters.
the expansion is unto itself and has 'features never before seen in a Rock Band title'
the way it's worded, online and library sort/hide/genre tagging/etc are free updates, the expansion itself is paid and will be announced at E3
edit: or not. wait for harmonix to clarify i guess. wouldn't be surprised of online cost money, that basically makes the expansion act as sort of an online pass to subsidize the implementation of online.

Every day I am disappointed.
I know it's not Harmonix to blame, but it's still disappointing.

I'm assuming that's his unblurred screen name in the upper right corner.
Game instantly twice as good.
Purchase it now if you want to play it later.

If you have BRB but not the DLC, you really need to fill out the content. It's worth it.
EVERYBODY WANTS TO SIT IN THE BIG CHAIR, MEG!
The Beatles DLC sold well enough they'd probably negotiated some extensions on the licensing deal and those extensions are up now.

Yep, it was super expensive to make.
