I don't know how completely you have to hold that to not be behind after it. a 4th and mutas popping after an enormous attack filled with banes.
It seemed like Flash screwed up his defense in that second bust.
I'd have to watch again I guess
still, screwed up = dead. doesn't screw up, I don't feel like he has a lead and then he has mutas to deal with and a 4th he can't touch.
Yeah, not saying it would've been easy, but I thought he reacted by moving from a good position to a tiny space where it would be hard to micro, and then mainly just stood still and clumped for the banes any ways.
I made a game! Hotline Maui. Requires mouse and keyboard.

i'm pretty sure the first engagement went as well as it could have gone, but it was those two banelings that went into the main that really hurt.

Is anyone else watching game 6 and feeling like Flash is playing really, really sloppily?
I really want to see those replays and analyze how Life's lings kept surviving those mine shots. Some were mine snipes before they went off, others were leading with single lings, but I swear some of those were luck.

semis gonna be all terran! 6/8 terran in top 8 no doubt right?
ahahahAHAHAHAHAHAHA
funny
Geez Vari and Dhal. You two sound bitter.
It *is* really obnoxious that the moment Terran starts doing well the thread turns into a morass of "everything Terran has is bullshit, they're unbeatable, gonna be MLG TvT all the time!" So it's nice that a Zerg won and that the semis were P, Z, and 2T and a Zerg beat a T to win, because now we can point at that to shut people up.
I love how there was 0 viper/swarm host usage lol.
Did you not watch the game where Life fucked Flash's drops with Vipers or like any of the other games where Vipers were wrecking people I mean seriously what
Four mines don't do enough damage to mutas to kill them? Bah.
They would've if Life hadn't split his mutas so well.
Also in that engagement at the 4th, Flash forgot to burrow his widowmines. It was sloppy, but MLG is pretty brutal. That was Flash's 14th match of the day, and he's probably used to spaced out events like OSL/SPL. Hard to expect him to play perfectly after a day like today. It just makes Life's performance even more incredible.
FYI, league and sc2 having almost the same numbers during MLG weekend has blown my mind. Didn't think the xpac would bring back this much interesting in the game.

The absolute last game? Yeah, Flash also didn't use Hellbats or Reapers at any point in the entire series, so what exactly is your point?

Well, it's new, so people flock to newness, and the general sentiment really seems to be that it's much better to watch now. I certainly think so - much more dynamic, and the balance is certainly better.

Uh, that Life didnt use them and still smashed Flash?
He used them in the first game to smash Flash, and I saw Zergs wrecking face with them all tournament long.
Almost no unit is built every single game except for the basic units I am really not sure what your point is here, that because Vipers aren't built in every single game they're useless...?

This owned. Life moved ALL of his shit over 4 mines and they just kind of sat there.

I guess you just gotta spot those lings and throw up bunkers or rush to tanks/mines

edit: A PvZ and TvT semi, and then a ZvT final, seems pretty good to me.

It's okay Vari. It's going to be alright. THEY CAN'T HURT US ANYMORE!

Flash looked crushed after that last game. I would put money on him making it this far again.
Now to get on his apm-level...

There was definitely a point in the game where a flock of mutas were left alone and three mines hit the edge of the flock, killing off perhaps five?
Either the unpredictability of mines becomes loved like Reavers or hated unlike Reavers
