Also this important message from Stilts:
Hey, Melding, I've finally decided on the winners, so you can put the results in your OP.
It's you, you won both spots with one character.
You are the greatest ever.

nope, the apostrophe and s ruins it
Either way, one of Dubh's characters would get in, because I adored both of them.
But choosing between Dich and Pony's characters was agonizing.
ah dang. i wasn't sure if that was going to be a problem, i assumed it would act like most punctuation and separate.
All of which is really just a way to say that I love drawing traditional monsters of traditional ideas in slightly different ways that I have commonly seen.
And then I came across the designs for the Muskox Minotaurs from the Narnia films.
you can use quotation marks around names to preserve them
@Antimatter's folly would be to notify themselves for someone to quote them
now I gotta finish up the character sheet!
we're a proper party of monsters, ain't we?

It's a really fun class to play, and they're not like most e-classes. They get full power selection, and even have a class feature to choose from! They're in Heroes of the Feywild, if you're interested.
Kobold Monk (me)
Dwarf Battlemind (Caulk Bite)
Maybe a Rogue? (Platypus; he's new to 4E so it'll probably take a bit for him to figure out his character)
Minotaur Rogue (Dubh)
Hengeyokai Cleric (Dich)
then I worked from there
her nickname, of course, was inspired by x-com

It's ok, Pony.
it's not a replacement for the books is it?
Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)
Supplement, not replacement. Character Builder, I know, as well as the magazines. Also, the virtual tabletop, though I have no feedback on how good that is.
It depends. Some people like to plan out the "build" while others prefer a more organic approach, making decisions as they go according to what best represents the direction the character has grown.
If only I were an experienced DM who could juggle 2 games
Yeah, same. Maybe if my weekly game wasn't about to hit epic...
Ugh, still not done with the next level!

it's a relic of its time sure, but it's actually not bad.
Also I would totally play a 4e game but would not offer to run it. I have my hands full running a different game that's about to start
If anyone else is taking it up, I'm down
It's like 2 degrees removed from ninja and therefore awesome
it's a woman.
what's so confusing?
I never thought of myself as someone attracted to Emo haircuts.
But she's not wearing boob-plate, how can you be certain?
you and i have a different definition of emo haircuts.
We could always do a Roll20 or Maptools & vent game
I am not familiar with any of those things.
the one thing that always sorta scared me away from maptools was how clunky it looked and felt, but this thing looks slick as hell

Roll20 is essentially the same thing, but it's all centralised and incorporates video chat and use of sounds and music as well
