I loved MGS1. Played the shit out of the demo until the game hit, then played that several times through.

A friend of mine got MGS2, and I watched him play most of it. Hated whatever the fuck that plot was supposed to be, and didn't like Raiden, so I didn't bother with MG anymore after that.
You would most likely enjoy mgs3, which requires no knowledge of 2 since its a prequel

Yeah it bums me that those burned by the insanity of MGS2 never played MGS3. Especially the version that gives you full camera control. It is easily superior to MGS1 and requires no knowledge of MGS2.

That said if you hated MGS2 stay the fuck away from MGS4

MGS4 has some great stuff in it and the gameplay is by far and away the best in the series

but as someone who loves mgs2 the overall story of it has

    problems

Really want to play MGS3 some day.

The 60/70s grindhouse aesthetic is just about the only thing that could make Kojima's crazy pretentious bullshit appealing to me.

Mgs3 is not grind house. It's aesthetic is based on 60/70s spy films

    Just...just listen to this song:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aHQnDTd1y4

It is the theme of the game. It plays in a straight James Bond opening and there is a moment where it hits at the perfect moment too.

Okay, so, this is the Playstation thread, so I'm asking this in here because I trust SE++ folk way more than H&A.

I bought a refurbished bleutoot card for my PS3 from the internet, and it's not quite the right model. I found a seller on Amazon that sells the correct model blooteeth card, brand new, but they don't mail them to Australia, despite being based in Hong Kong, which is where I got the wrong one from.

So I need an SE++ homie in the US to take delivery of my bluesnoot board and mail it on to me.

Clearly, you will not have to pay a cent for anything. Quite the opposite, rather. I will transfer whatever monies are required to freight the bluesmooth board to me into your moneybox, and will also gift you stuff on Steam up to the value of the board itself, or some other arrangement that you might prefer. Perhaps you'd like me to send you a shit-ton of TimTams?

Anyway, help me Obi-Wan fellow forumer, you're my only hope (for wireless gaming and BluRay watching)...

Can they send it to Canada?

I'd be happy to help you, if so.

I can do that. And I already have your address. And I already have a setup you have used to send me money.

Soul Caliber Broken Sword, and Sleepy Dogs have been the latest things taking up my time.
I haven't checked the store recently, have they released any new free* plus games?

I HAVE A PLAYSTATION PLUS THREAD THAT I KEEP POSTING IN YOU ASSHOLES

No seriously it's great. I traded away my physical copy of Sleeping Dogs and got Armored Core instead. I don't know what they're going to do with it in the next iteration of the console but it's been beyond worth the money on PS3.
