Yes. When I get stressed/anxious I can't hold down food. All I can do is try to relax (which I am) and take small things like jello. Problem is jello doesn't have much in the ways of nutrients, so.

Hurt my knee whilst bowling last night. Patellar tendon pain in my right knee (I'm not sure how bowling would cause this). Tried to squat just now and I think I might need a few days to recover.

What does "each muscle group" mean? If you want to keep weight training and just want new ideas then I'd humbly suggest moving over to the Strength Training thread, we'll set you up right.
I'm not at all sold on why the fuck we even have two of these threads.
Oh man, godmode. Angels fearing to tread and all that.
There's definitely a bit of an overlap between the lifting and fitness aspects of these threads, but as someone who is solely interested in cardio I've always been pretty happy not to have to look through too much of that, thanks to the presence of the builder's thread.
Hrm, I do have a bit of yogurt. Ok, thanks! I'll see what I can hold down.
BRAT forever, my friend. Bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast. I'd suggest adding in some peanut butter if your stomach can take it, for the protein. Very good for when you're coming off of a stomach bug.
That having been said, please don't go for so long without eating, that is very bad for you! Can you hold down protein shakes, at least? If you're feeling anxious and you can hold it down, please at least sip on those to prevent starving yourself.

Yogurt seems to be ok. Will try peanut butter. Never had a protein shake, tbh.
Got a pork chop and some salad prepped and ready to go for lunch later, pretty excited. It's another experimental marinade, basically honey mustard, sea salt, olive oil, and some chardonnay. We'll find out later how it is. Culinary adventures, hooooooo
how hard is insanity on your gams? I'm really cautious about it because I destroyed my knee a few years ago and I've had chronic pain/weakness
I would not recommend Insanity, then. At least 90% of exercises are done on your feet, and there's constant leg movement, whether it be jumping, squatting, lunging, etc.
I submit this as a regular guy's recommendation, and am not a health official in any way. So it's really up to you, and your doctor if you decide to consult them.

so, looking like i'm going to be changing gyms.
I know that overall this is going to be the most practical move for me. But I am still going through the whole "but my loyalty!" thing. This is best, overall. I stay with my trainer with whom i've been seeing great results and he's become like a little brother. And It's much more conveniently located to my work. So that even on my early mornings I can get a workout in, at a decent time.
Now I just have to get over to the gym, check the place out, and then sign up.
try some yogurt if that doesn't upset your stomach, it has protein
mix in some peanut/almond butter if you can tolerate it
I've been mixing greek yogurt with peanut butter, two scoops of chocolate protein powder, and ice/milk to consistency (thanks @lonelyahava for the proportions).
The tart taste of the greek yogurt (which I loathe) is completely destroyed by all that other goodness and it's like 75gs of protein.
Probably not too helpful for @Magus` though because it's gonna be hell on a lesser stomach.
it was bloody delicious
it's made out of brown rice flour and i hate brown rice but as a pizza crust, it is keen
there are a bunch of gluten free things i just prefer the taste of now
but not bread.
you can not beat bread.

i drink a lot of Ensure or Boost etc when I get like that
And that's a good idea. I don't have those things on hand, but I do have a blender!
... can you blend chicken? Is it gross?

NO LUNKHEADS ALLOWED in this thread.

(it will be a good alternative to the very little I've been doing lately)
prewarmed bed is the best.
Edit: Now I'm sad because my bed is always cold when I get into it. Damnit Sass.

I already take up my entire bed! Though it is only a single, and I'm a giant, so.

Gluten free? Yeah it probably just made you stronger then.
