it's racism when you single out "all brazilians"
it's racism when you ignore all the people you play with on a probably daily basis who don't speak english and don't talk and do just fine and focus on the people you get SUPER ANGRY at right away when they say something in a language you can't read

i'm not in your games i don't know if you do these, but i have seen this happen a LOT in league of legends and it's really irritating and condescending when people say there's no racism in league

... lots of Brazilians are white. It's not racist to not want to play with people that don't speak your language.

You could argue it's bigoted, since there are pings for most things now, but even then speaking the same language can help.

I've played with some good non English speakers and some bad ones. But if I was playing ranked, I'd want my team to be able to understand me and me to understand them. And there is nothing wrong with that.

When are they nerfing Leblanc? Wish pictures worked at work. Ill have to check it out later. He is supposed to be an AP bruiser/jungler thing right? I think they need more AP jungling. IMO that would flex the meta in very interesting ways. I mean Amumu is AP jungle perma banned, Diana was a decent attempt at it, with minor tweaks Sejuani could be super great at it. I dont like Cho jungle but its still a thing. More AP jungling!

And i swear if i see another annie jungle ill cut you.

    Bottom/Support.

Champion select is NOT locked to role. You can do ADC Janna if you want, you crazy diamond(and allows flexibility to run a kill comp bot) while at least forcing you to communicate what you want to do ahead of time.

Yes, it will lead to trolling. People already troll, however.

Yes, you are enforcing the Meta of solo top. It's the only one worth enforcing.

There you go. I take blowjobs(sloppy).

How would I queue for bruiser kill lane bot with this system? or double jungle?

I feel the ones that tend to type the most tend to be more prone to mistakes. Typing means you release control of your character for a while as you type out whatever you have to say. Means you are missing cs, getting stuck out of position and not concentrating on the game itself. Often you are inviting others to also stop and type so even if you only type coming out of spawn or while dead you can cause your teammates to pause.

I almost entirely communicate through pings, and with the new mia ping I dont even stop to type anymore at all in laning.

The phrases I do say are understood no matter what your language is. Baron, dragon etc are pretty universally known. And a time is usually pretty understood as a maker when those will be respawning.

Complicated strategy in solo queue tends to fall on its face anyway, its best to keep everything simple.

When they EU servers split, I believe they allowed a free transfer. Maybe they'll do that again? Someone more familiar with that could shine some light on what transpired.

    1) The only communication I need is roles and the new pings. This is even more true with the glorious advent our ping wheel overlord.

    2) OK, it's been a really long time since I posted a replay for feedback. Now I'm doing ranked, and I know we have a lot of strong support players in this thread, so I'm throwing up a game of me doing badbadbad (I think I'm like a Bronze IV player in Silver V): http://www.leaguereplays.com/replays/match/2965472/

Some things that jump out at me were: I way overanticipated many friendly ganks, and I didn't know how to out-maneuver Taric in lane. What I really need help understanding is how to act in the chaotic midgame.

I know it's like 30 minutes of watching, but thought I'd ask -- don't feel like I'm improving really these days.

They did transfers with the BR servers. So *fingered crossed*. I feel for the AUS gaming community in the same way i felt for the TW and KR community before they got localized servers. Which in my opinion in probably why TPA are so good. When you have a person who has a 160 ping, 200 CS at 22min and is flash dodging your malphite ults. Give them a 15 ping and watch them destroy.

Usually the most crucial mistakes you can make as a support is within the first 5 minutes of a game.

When things start snowballing against you it gets much easier to give up more and more.

Against taric, if you cant counterpick him with a good support that can deal with taric in lane you want to make sure you have lane brush vision/control. Giving that up lets him zone out your carry or yourself.

I think the only thing needed to remove the toxicity from champ select is to add a report function in champ select that also collects the chatlog there.

Like was already said, currently, toxic players are not punished in champ select, they are rewarded by forcing other players to dodge if they dont cater to the toxic player or endure a 20+min hellmatch.

Which is about Ranked, specifically ranked solo queue.

Teaching people how to play is totally normal in blind pick, people should already know how to play their roles in ranked. If you are spending time teaching someone how to play something, you pretty much already lost.

@Junlea, Do you mind If I play a couple of games as ADC while you support. I feel like I am gold 4-3 level support sitting at silver 2 (@infidel went on holiday so I am waiting for him to come back before we continue our climb to gold) right now, but I feel like I am missing something when it comes to making it higher then that. I don't feel I have the mechanical skill to make it to plat. However I'd love to go through a few games where you talk me through what you're doing on support. I understand all the fundamentals. I just feel like I am not playing the lane phase well enough to win the lane. Heck i'd be happy to just spectate a game and you can explain.

Sure, friend me and we can play or you can spec some games. I'm usually on the PA vent too so I can talk it through. I think the trouble with Silver 2 is that your ADC is often useless and teams aren't as capable when it comes to understanding late game and objectives. An interesting thing about support is that you can't traditionally carry and your impact increases exponentially with your teammates skill increases.

I've run two double jungle games on purpose in ranked Gold 3 within the last week (Soloque). This is roughly around 1600-1700 Elo. The idea in one game was that we'd put singed in our 2v1 lane, and swap our Vayne into a solo lane against their bruiser, and keep our AP mid. This gave vayne an easy farming lane and we could tripple gank bot with Singed toss as a guarantee of a kill.

    This was incredibly effective.

I know it's like 30 minutes of watching, but thought I'd ask -- don't feel like I'm improving really these days.

    Take Q first on Lulu.

Save W for Caitlyn instead of Taric when he stuns.

The Miss Fortune was dumb for stepping on the trap for the first death but she wouldn't have died if you'd polymorphed and slowed the Caitlyn. When he stuns Miss Fortune you are basically free to hit Caitlyn with as much as you can because you aren't in danger of dying when they're attacking your carry.

All of your glitterlance harass should have been on Caitlyn instead of Taric. His heal is less effective on her than on himself and she started with only two potions. With the way the lane was going, poking Taric at all was pretty pointless and you would have been better holding on to your Q to slow Caitlyn when she tried to follow up a stun.

The little fight at 9:20 you probably just straight up kill them if you stand your ground and fight (well, MF's items are awful so maybe. If she had a dorans blade you definitely straight up kill them). Taric basically wastes his stun on nothing, while you would theoretically have exhaust, polymorph, and glitterlance to kill Caitlyn with when she nets into you. In any case Taric stuns someone who isn't you so you have no reason whatsoever to flash out.

First Hecarim gank you hold on to your glitterlance forever even after you've engaged on Caitlyn, and you end up just using it on Taric and not accomplishing anything. Caitlyn net is down and she has no mana so just hitting her with glitterlance and fighting her pops flash or cleanse and you still have exhaust up.

Also you're not using any of your regen. You could have popped your biscuit for an extra spell and full health while hecarim was coming down. But mostly it comes back to harassing Caitlyn. You started off the game with more regen than she did (and basically more damage as well...), so it should have been your sole mission in life to mess her up whenever Dazzle was on cooldown.

You waste your pink wards. First one should have just been in the river bush. Taric wasn't gone from lane long enough for his ward to be out of range of yours if you put it there, and the vision you get is almost exactly the same.

Your second one you put down at dragon right after the first dies even though Taric couldn't have possibly put anything there. When you came back to lane there you should have just warded the river bush over the wall with a green and put a green in your lane bush, and just sit on the pink ward for a bit.

From two trundle games I've seen this season, the answer is just straight up duel him and he dies.

oh I didn't say it was a legitimate thing, oh god no, trundle needs some love. An increase to the amount of AD he steals would do wonders and bring him back into this AD centric meta we've got currently. However Riot has said they don't like trundel's design. So I guess the less of him we see the better they feel.

They're remaking Trundle, actually. Like karma I think it's a visual and kit rework.

Maybe that's the theory. In practice though, I basically ignored him in lane; he was like a cannon minion that could slow me. My Tristana finished the game 13-0, so....

    Glorious, thanks!

I am not sure what they can do to him visually that doesn't completely change who he is. He is an ugly troll.
