My ultimate battle mode would be one that seems perfectly normal - only you're fighting Alliance troops instead of Cerberus or whatever.
And then one of Shepard's squaddies shows up as an objective wave, amidst normal soldiers. Take Grunt.
He cannot be stunned. He cannot be staggered. He has concussive shot, more health than some waves, and if you don't have someone with Inferno Ammo then his health regenerates. He carries a Claymore, ignores shield gate, has flame damage on his gun, and tends to rush you. A lot.
If he gets in melee range he just tackles you and tramples you to death.
He can do grab kills on you over cover.
He's laughing constantly.
I know that would potentially be frustrating to fight, but oh my God that would be amazing

Shepard Mode, where you fight Shepard, Javik, and Garrus.
Are we talking puny adept Shepard who slowly kills you with mass crowd control and being flung 20 metres by explosions.
Or instant death claymore Infiltrator Shepard.
Because neither sound like enjoyable fights, but I'll take the swift death over the slow one.
And if you thought primes were bad, Engineer Shepard has some stagger lock for you.
Novaguard Shepard, with kung fu grip!
He charges! He novas! He's packing a wraith X with inferno ammo.
And for today only! We'll toss in Javik, with his amazing dark channel for Vangod Shep to really set those explosions off!
Order now!
Caution: Novaguard Shep may cause impregnation, scale itch, renagade points, hi5's, biotic explosions, cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria, premature ejaculation, loss of conciousness, loss of cool points, and epeen shrivel.
Mild Confusion is not responsible for what Novaguard Shep does to your character.
Battlenet ID: MildC#11186 - If I'm in the game, send me an invite at anytime and I'll play.
Does anybody have a link to a table laying out the interactions between all the different damage types and resistances? They're not quite intuitive or logical enough to go by what seems obvious, so it's quite annoying that there doesn't seem to be any explanation of them at all in the game.
On the plus side, infiltrator shep if built like any other Shepard ever will have no points in fitness and die quickly.
Infiltrator-Shep also has a ranged sync-kill when cloaked. And that magazine holds three bullets...

Man. You know if Bioware goes full out with the MP in the next game(and I think they will since EA has seen they can make money off of it) I would love to see all the big improvements that could be done to it.
I'm still holding out for a semi-free to play model based off of selling specialised boosters and mini co-op campaigns.
That way they can keep updating it as it makes shit tons of money and they don't have to keep it up to date with however long the main single player games do/don't last.
Mass Effect: Corsair - Design your own corsair, customize your ship and crew of NPCs as you scour the galaxy during the ME2-ME3 timeframe.
Create your own corsair, choose their class and customize their powerset with all of ME3's powers and more!
Recruit a motley crew of NPCs, all based on the ME races you know and love. Choose to play as them or your avatar in the ultimate online campaign experience!
Scout Missions - ME1 style planet exploration featuring customizable Makos and Hammerheads. Partner with other players as you search remote worlds for precious resources and fight off pirates, criminals, and horrors of the outer dark.
Strike Missions - The ME3 muliplayer action you know and love, now featuring more maps, new hazard effects, and new objectives!
Strategic Missions - Join with other players in the ultimate co-op experience as you play ME2-style set pieces with multiple objectives, scripted scenarios, and unique encounters!
Start as a rogue corsair just managing to get by and build your ship and crew into a notorious legend. Culminate in the epic Battle of the Crucible as you defend Earth against the full force of the Reaper Threat. Episodic content after the battle continues the story as you help re-build the galaxy - featuring choices determined by an ME3 save that you import.
Clan support - create a close knit group of rogues, including your own symbols, logos, color themes and more! Advance in the story together or separately!
Though speaking of 'other' ME universe stuff everyone is still in the 'please make' camp for space ship simulator and Turn based strategy right? Because I want those.
Mass Effect is actually probably one of my favourite universes in gaming.
I'm not sure what my deal is today, but I've been sync killed all but one round of this game. I'm aware that Banshees exist and are a terrible thing to be close to, I'm also aware of their proximity based on their screams but for some reason I keep either rounding a corner into one or end up with one behind me while I'm tending to something else.
I'm not sure I'm quite good enough to start the day's playing off in Gold yet. Maybe a couple of warm up Silvers every day are the answer.
I am rocking the objective waves, though. I managed all four of the disarms and three of the assassination targets. Normal waves I got nothin'.

It happens sometimes. Though that's a lot of bad luck with the tele-grabs.
A few days a go with PA guys we were doing Reapers to grind the challenge out and we were all getting pretty consistently grabbed.

I love when my Kroguard gets lag grabbed.
Because I'm walking forward but moving back...looks like he's moonwalking.
I've only saved up 597k in credits, which given how little I play is somewhat of a miracle. Good thing the PSP is 99k and not 100k, means I can just scrape six packs when the expansion drops. Looking forward to next week!
Got the biotic god title, stasis took me a time because I didn't know the optimal way to trigger its damage so I was left spamming it on my asari adept. Pistols is going to be a real bitch, I don't have a talon, so I'll either have to max the pistol medals or use the shitty asari pellet gun.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.

Last night, I come up behind a banshee on Glacier that I thought was locked onto another PC. I unloaded a Hurricane into her back, figuring that'd get her attention, and started backing up. She teleported towards me, but still had her back turned, which I thought was odd, but time to run. Teleported again, still facing away, and I got sync killed.
Then suddenly after I was dead, I spontaneously got better. Man, they REALLY need to put a ping counter into the multiplayer.
I can't seem to find the rhythum to it, I only have like a 3, but the damage seems low, the bullets richochet and arc, on top of all that its a charge weapon.

By "fitness" I assume you mean "sabotage" since points 5 and 6 aren't needed in SP.
You sicken me.
Sabotage is the greatest skill any Shepard can put points in and should always be maxed after passive and cloak.
Sabotage can cure any illness. Sabotage causes friendly fire to look sexy. Sabotage can even make Javik love. I once Sabotaged Jacob, and for a shot time he became and interesting character.

Well. For the most part you want to take advantage of its shield/barrier frying abilities and AoE attack.
I mean you won't get a lot of points from direct kills but stripping shield off bosses and hitting multiple characters at a time usually adds but.
But yeah it takes some practice to be able to use it.

Acolyte 101:
Choose a Tech or Biotic Power character.
Slap an ammo effect on it. Preferably Disruptor, Incendiary, Phasic, or Cryo. Stay away from Armor Pen, Drill and Explosive.
ULM mod + Heavy barrel mod
Keep a shot charged at all times.
Play mid to long range, stay close to teammates - no lone wolf shenanigans.
Mooks appear - release shot and follow up with good AOE power.
Boss or elite appears - fire until shields are down, follow up with good single target power.
Yeah no sooner did I say that then I took it for a spin on my fury and racked up 90k points against the geth (40k higher than second place, it was a silver I like silver eat me). I was even lagging which made some sure things miss and still did damage. Guess I should have showed some humility though.

Possibly even better than Matador mode. Possibly. I hope ME4 has way more customisable waves.
Fighting all the factions at once is fun as hell but Platinum is so bullshit.
All four enemy types.
The joy of dealing with a spawn of two Atlases, two Banshees, two Primes, and four Phantoms. All possessed.
Things get tougher in Wave 2.

Within an hour a BSN member posts of video of him solo-ing it with a Geth Infiltrator.
