hey
i need help from the talented bunch here to, as the title suggests, redesign the lego person. i'm working on a school project that deals with lego and i'm exploring the idea of the body being a place of inhabitation- a shell, a mask, a protective coating that we alter and change with fashion, body art, gender, hair, etc. The lego person embodies this qualities in it's modular and customizable nature. i'm sure we can remember customizing our own legos. changing the parts. even painting and making accessories for them.
i'm posting a blank digital lego person:

please help create a custom lego person. add anything. do anything. simple or complex. see it as a canvas to explore all possibilites of the body simply as a shell. use any tools you'd like, digital, pencil, pens, ink, blood, etc.
all i ask is for you to maintain the generic standard lego form and pose i've provided. (you can help me fix the crappy line work if you like) make as many variations as you wish. the more the better.
please sign your name, add your tag, logo, stamp, website, to give yourself credit for the hardwork.
i will compile all the lego and create a single picture to encompass the collection and of course post it here (perhaps as a wallpaper? icons?) this is not a contest - as i cannot provide any prizes - the work will be shown at the architecture, landscape and design faculty at the university of toronto.
