Is that the way to make the best possible Morgan? I know it depends on what you're going for, but if you marry a second-gen character then Morgan's stat mods aren't (parent1mod+parent2mod)+1, they're just (parent1mod+parent2mod)

    So you get (grandparent1 mods + grandparent2 mods + avatarmods + 1), so they're better once over.

Some people feel the need to make the perfect kid stat-wise even though there is no point to it.

I'm thinking these people probably have extensive knowledge of IV training in Pokemon too.

You said there's no point to create the perfect kid. I counterpointed how there is, even if you personally don't find any reason in it. Regardless, I'm not getting in an argument over something so trivial, but your flippant comment concerning min/maxers merited a response.

Anyway, I'm glad I picked up Gaius this time after mercilessly slaughtering him in my first playthrough due to being lazy and not really paying attention to the story. His supports and personality are great (i.e. the candy-loving, carefree thief). Pairing him up with Tharja results in some hilarous curse/failed hex support convos and will also make schizo Noire usable this playthrough.

This is nowhere near as complicated as IVs. You just look at the stat growths and skills and go these two, these two, these two a few times. Then level them like mad.

Send your entire army up ahead of her. Go as fast as you can. You're promoted, she can't move as fast as you. Take all the hits and kill everyone who might have attacked her otherwise.

Your first instinct will be to attack both sides together! Don't do that. Whole army up the right side. Fix it right as rain.

What!? Nah is awesome!!!! Donnel + Nowi = godly Nah! But you are 100% right on Yarne. Panne is in my opinion the worst character in the game from a story perspective, and she's just not a cool-looking character. Her son is even more drab.

The two new dlc maps today are awesome.

One is based on my all time favorite map, the other is hands down the best place to level anyone in the entire game.

Lost Bloodlines 3, right? Yeah, the sheer number of units means that, assuming you're strong enough to do it and you're already hitting the exp gain cap, you'll still come away with 4 levels. Double to 8 when you factor in the x2 exp skill you're also getting.

Use beefy character to level and farm x2 skill books. Give skills to lowbie characters. Level up with exp map. Graduate to LB3. Repeat.

    It's a glorious exp circle.

I can't wait to try this when I get home tonight. I never would have thought I'd enjoy these DLC maps as much as I do. Though in my current playthrough I'm not sure if I'll be powerful enough to take on LB 3 yet. Any idea when you "graduate" to LB3?

I did LB3 last night. Most of my team are promoted, but not maxed out in any way. In their promoted classes, they're mostly in the 12-16 range.

I got through it with most of the A-list alive and well, but lost a few of the second stringers. I basically just ran everyone to meet up in the middle and abused the heck out of supports. Took out most of the army on Enemy turns...

About when even the highest level risen in EXPonential Grows are giving you peanuts for exp. By then you should have enough defensive stats to survive solo. Fill your equipment full of weapons (ranged especially to deal with them pesky mages/archers), pair up with Chrom (since you sadly can't exclude him from the fight), make a run for a fort of castle for enhanced defense and healing, and then skip every turn. Everything will just kill themselves on you, and it's a guaranteed 4 levels minimum, 8 with x2 exp.

Severa's a pain, but her supports with Morgan show her in as good a light as anything. Combined with her Noire supports, you realize she's about the best big sister you could ask for. Considering marrying a first generation parent means Morgan spends her formative years in a post apocalyptic hellscape, it's good to have someone watching her back.

Also, as a parent, you lay down the law by B rank, and don't sound like a total pushover even at C. Cuts into the unfortunateness a little.
